We Don’t Need No Flaming Sparky Cars

Toyota is recalling more than 1 million of its hybrid vehicles worldwide over a potential fire risk.

The automaker said Wednesday that the safety recall covers its Prius, Prius plug-in hybrid and C-HR SUV models and is intended to repair a problem with their electrical systems, which in some cases can cause fires.

  1. “Overheating Wiring Harness”.. WTF that suggests normal current is more than Specified,….Generally a Connector may be found problematic, but the whole wiring Harness NOT NORMAL…

  2. Cheap Chinese wire insulation? … or did the specifications not anticipate the actual HEAT generated by a burning lithium-ion battery?

    1. The next thing you know the muffler bearings will be discovered to collapse at speeds over 20 km.

  3. In France and Sweden, the migrant youth stage mass car BBQ’s across cities, as a foreshadowing of the official declaration of the approaching Caliphate destroying the kuffar.

Slip lots of flaming, sparky cars into those cities and no one would notice, or at least not say anything for fear of losing their job, social status and head.

“The sky is falling crowd” could point to the Toyota hybrids as virtue signaling (smoke signaling) their lower CO2 emission vehicles… if that makes any sense. Actually virtue signaling doesn’t have to. That being it’s only “virtue”.

    1. I’m just curious? Do those carbques count as part of the IC autos that catch fire … as Elon insists occur more than his flaming death traps do.
