I’m going through my boxed set of The Sopranos for the first time in years.
It wasn’t just the acting that made that show spectacular. The writing, and the attention that was paid to small details, made it captivating.
Sopranos is one of the best series ever. It is visually stunning, the music, clothing flair, acting and writing are wonderful.This show is honest, serious, brutal and funny, a true masterpiece.
When James’ funeral mass ended there was an eagle that landed on the church roof. The people filing out who saw the bird, remarked that James was with them, they took it as a sign.

Truly magnificent the way that Trump can so quickly and effectively dismantle his enemies with a quick remark and a joke.

if I want to know what an actor has to say about politics or watch them act like a tough guy for the cameras then I’ll watch a Justard press conference, nothing is more grotesque and self serving then that sorry spectacle. Although to be fair, a Justard “press conference” is more of an ensemble show, the Media are a wonderful supporting cast for the guy with the fake eyebrows. DeNiro’s spoiled cry baby asshole routine and his general temper tantrum like childishness makes me believe he has some serious Daddy issues.

Exactly. I haven’t been in a movie theatre since I saw Jurassic Park in a second-run house nearly 25 years ago. (Never see a popular film during the holiday season! My first viewing of JP, which was during the Christmas break, was ruined by the teenage girls in the audience screaming at every last little thing.)
Over the years, I’ve acquired a small collection of movie DVDs so I never have go to a theatre ever again. (In observance of the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park‘s release, I watched it earlier today, all by myself, without any kiddies present to shriek.) I inherited a wide-screen TV from my father and watching my DVDs will be even better once I bring it here.
Nothing personal. Mostly because of his (PDT) inability to stick to the truth. He changes his mind and his course like he changes socks. I really don’t like Trudeau either , but he’s here for a while yet.
