  1. I love this.

This is so much better than most of the crap music out there and this girl, Grace Vanderwaal, is 14 years old… and wrote this song when she was thirteen. Let that sink in.
If ever I needed a sign that there is a god I look to this remarkable person.
    Enjoy and support her.

    Suzuki is guilty. Rescind Suzuki.

    “Another Fine Idea”

“So, it is almost impossible to understand what possessed the University of Alberta in Edmonton, provincial seat for the huge economies of both the cattle and oil industries, to have David Suzuki on its agenda in June to receive an honorary degree in science.

This is the same Suzuki, after all, who speaks of “tar sands” rather than oilsands, and who scared the bejeebers out of children across our nation back in 2011 when his charitable foundation claimed that Santa Claus, and all his elves and reindeer, would be drowning at any second because the North Pole was melting from the ravages of climate change.

Yet, who is the “environmentalist” consistently flying around the world, and therefore dragging it down with the weight of his huge carbon footprint?

None other than Suzuki, of course.”

    1. From February 2016 to February 2018 (the latest month available) global average temperatures dropped 0.56°C. You have to go back to 1982-84 for the next biggest two-year drop, 0.47°C—also during the global warming era. All the data in this essay come from GISTEMP Team, 2018: GISS Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP). NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (dataset accessed 2018-04-11 at https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/). This is the standard source used in most journalistic reporting of global average temperatures.

      1. Is there any chance we won’t get the usual “hottest year on record” mantra come January? Personally, I am quite surprised that they did not tamper with the data in their zeal to ensure that the planet heats up.

    2. … not to mention 11 offspring thus far (incl. grandchildren).

Agree wholeheartedly with your post – I like to remind people that my long term carbon footprint is minuscule compared to David Suzuki’s.

Suzuki loves Cosby’s wit, intimate jailbird sources say.

“Bill Cosby could spend rest of his life in prison after guilty verdict

Cosby was convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault, each carrying a standard sentence of five to 10 years in prison. The counts are likely to be merged for sentencing purposes, but given Cosby’s age even a modest term could mean he will die behind bars.”

“The BBC has withdrawn Human Planet from distribution after admitting that the series faked scenes of an Indonesian hunter harpooning a whale.

The natural history programme is currently available on Netflix but will be withdrawn within 24 hours while the corporation conducts an “editorial review”.

It is the second Human Planet fakery story this month. It emerged that film-makers had staged scenes of a rainforest tribe supposedly living in a treehouse 140 feet from the ground.”

  5. Just in, response from PM on government funding of Kinder Morgan opponents: OK, we vetted them, they’re not pro-life.

“Trudeau under fire for funding Kinder Morgan opponents.”

Canada’s parliament erupted Wednesday over a job posting from the Dogwood Initiative, a Vancouver-based environmental group that is hiring an organizing assistant for up to 12 weeks at $15 an hour — hardly the stuff of national news. But the job description includes “helping our organizing network stop the Kinder Morgan pipeline and tanker project,” and is funded by the federal government under the Canada Summer Jobs Program.”

    1. Liberals are a disaster for our country. Sooner or later people will figure that out — most of them anyway.

  7. Mohammed is not acting.

“I have a question: do you think a play called The Assassination of Sadiq Khan would get a government grant? Do you think it would even be allowed to open?

Of course not — its actors would be arrested for incitement to violence — and Islamophobia.”

    …-

“Do you think I should be assassinated?

I ask, because last night, at the Theatre Clwyd in Wales, the press gathered to watch a play called The Assassination of Katie Hopkins.

It has received huge attention from the liberal press and the state broadcaster, finding the musical’s title to be in jolly good taste and hugely entertaining.

In fact, The Assassination of Katie Hopkins also benefits from state funding. Which is a curious way to spend taxpayers cash at a time when we can’t afford hospitals or police.

But it’s not a joke. Two jihadis were sent to prison in 2017 for plotting to behead me, having practised on a plastic dummy with a hunting knife.”
