Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Never forget the media’s most important job.
Their job was and is there to instill and maintain in their viewers and readers an irrational fear of nearly everything.
The atom bomb, the weather, right-wingers; their boogie men are never ending.
Anyone above the age of 16 who doesn’t know about the extant and reach of nuclear-tipped missiles needs to be given a shake. Then their educators and parents need to be jap slapped.
Hahahahahaha …. jap slapped. Nice one.
I presume that people just thought the threat was over, which it never was. I’m looking at China, here, even if one presume that the Russians could have been considered neutralised.
I see news articles talking about this from 18 months ago, so this missile isn’t new. I feel like I’ve missed something.
Nuclear holocaust no longer terrifies me in the same way that it did when I was a youngster, and it surely did. What scares me more now is the knowledge that a single missile with a sufficient number of MIRV warheads, targetted with high-altitude bursts, would be sufficient to destroy North American civilisation as we know it via the EMPs. We would no longer be able to give a shit about anyone outside our immediate areas, and the die-off and hunger games would be brutal in a way we can’t truly comprehend in today’s soft-living society.
I have heard it said.
“An atomic bomb could ruin your whole day.”
I lived thru the cuban crisis. didnt *fully* comprehend what was happening seeing as usual no one cared to explain it in a few simple sentences.
but anyways, this would be the same castro that the TURDoo clan are in love with. the one perfectly willing to turn N America and the USSR into a scorched wasteland, sose he could have a huge leap in power. ya, that one.
which I pointed out to the local LIEberal mp soon after pm socks adoration of castro replete with tears of sadness, genuine grief mind you, when the cuban who wasted BILLIONS of man hours of his own people by dumping them into prison for unacceptable poetry and such, *finally* met up with *his* daddy mr satan.
ya, THAT one.
