Growing up in Toronto in the early 60’s, Johnny Bower was one of my idols. I played goal for a couple of years as a kid, and I thought he was so cool because he didn’t wear a mask. Winning the Stanley Cup 3 years out of 4 was a huge help! He will always be remembered by a generation of Leaf fans.
