  1. Thanks for a great video. I was raised near the Canada-USA border. There was a B-52 base at Glasgow, Montana. The bombers would take off and fly to Northern Canada for training missions. During the Cold War, the base would have been used for strategic bombing of Soviet Union targets. Parked on the tarmac, you could see them for miles away especially the tail fin that rose above the flat prairie.
The 8 Pratt and Whitney jet engines left a considerable contrail as compared to the Boeing 707s or other 4 engine passenger liners. The B-52s also had a different sound, especially on cold winter nights. The base closed in 1968 leaving the community of Glasgow in a dire economic situation.

  2. That was some impressive piloting of the B-52. Five hours without most of the tail structure, and a near-perfect landing – wow. The presentation of the flight was rather British in its laconic tone.

“JORDAN: Here’s what I think, Director Wray. I think Peter Strzok, head of counterintelligence at the FBI; Peter Strzok, the guy who ran the Clinton investigation, did all the interviews; Peter Strzok, the guy who was running the Russian investigation at the FBI; Peter Strzok, Mr. Super Agent at the FBI — I think he’s the guy who took the application to the FISA court.
And if that happened — I mean, think — if this happened, if you had the FBI working with a campaign, the Democrats’ campaign, taking opposition research, dressing it all up and turning it into an intelligence document and taking it to the FISA court so they could spy on the other campaign — if that happened, that is as wrong as gets.”

“Chinese Company Sues Venezuela over Failure to Pay Debt
One of China’s largest state-owned companies has filed a lawsuit against the Venezuelan state-run oil firm Petroleum of Venezuela (PDSVA) over their failure to pay their debt, the Financial Times first reported.
The oil and gas company Sinopec filed a lawsuit on November 27 in a Houston, Texas, federal court for $23.7 million plus interest and damages over Venezuela’s failure to pay half of a $43.5 million order for steel products, accusing the PDSVA of a “disingenuous nature [and] feigned promises to make full payment.”

  7. In one of the many iterations of a wide and Varied working career I was a Program Manger for the Boeing AWACS ————–(the Military version of the Boeing 707 -Big Mushroom Radar Dome) on Top)——
The Programme was the Vertical Stabilizer which you have seen in the video on the B-52. Standing on the Floor and watching the skilled construction of an Aircraft Component rise to it’s 30 foot Height I am absolutely amazed at the Skill and Gentle Touch the Boeing Flight Crew established and maintained For Five Hours.

    ———————–
EXCLUSIVE: When Bret Tyler Skopek first met director Bryan Singer at a Halloween party in 2013 shortly after the aspiring songwriter arrived from Arizona, the 18-year-old had no idea who the guy wearing the Catholic priest costume was — though he realized it obviously was someone famous, since a friend urged him to pose for a photograph.
“It was a never-ending supply of cute young men,” Skopek recalled.
Here is the tale of a youthful-looking, barely legal-aged man who came to Hollywood with big dreams and left feeling chewed up, spat out and exploited by an older, wealthy man.

  9. It seems the same falth that controls Wilfrid Laurier University controls Saskatoon Public School board.
The school board didn’t specify which policies of Samaritan’s Purse, the charity that runs the program, it objected to. It could be the same reason that the school district in Newfoundland and Labrador dumped it. The latter simply didn’t like SP’s beliefs, particularly its views on marriage and the alphabet people.
So much for peace and good will….
