Travelling partner is the highway? the sign? the rocks? the shadow? the sky ? or the smudge on the windscreen ? (I’m betting on the smudge).
Oh duh. It’s George Washington.
We’ve been doing well, Raylan is still #1. One more trip to go and then we’re done. I’m ready for a rest!
Why does this shot remind me of that scary movie with a semi chasing you?
The scenery in the morning light is breathtaking.
Arizona is my favourite place on the planet. Heading there again in February.
I’ve spoken with a lot of my fellow hams in Arizona. They liked to remind me of how warm it is where they were when I mentioned how cold central Alberta was.
I hope the road turned left a little at the end of the pass:-)
Ansel Adams’ zone system at work.
i see gazillions of photos on the intertoobz – this one has got legs.
That is a really nice photo.
Even though it is in black-and-white, one can really appreciate the shadow.
Gorgeous. I’ve been hankering to get an old Land Cruiser and have been reading about on and off-road adventures lately so this excellent photo really hits home right now.
