  1. Seems to me it is likely said “deplorables”, being mostly white blue collar Americans that finance the entire league with their Season Tickets to games and keep up the TV ratings.
An old Italian saying comes to mind:
“Ya don’t crap where ya eat…”

  2. It would have been interesting to poll the paying public actually attending the NFL games the questions asked by both FNC and CBS. My guess is the “small majorities” against protesting the anthem wouldn’t be so small. The NFL’s politically polarizing behaviour is an exercise in self-immolation. I’m not surprised about reading how life long fans have just lost interest. I feel pretty much the same – like the players on the field have suddenly become strangers.

  3. Go after the MONEY. The next tome you pay good MONEY to go to a game and one if these turkeys takes a knee get up and leave AND DEMAND YOUR MONEY BACK.

  4. Curb your excitement, please. It’s only an amateur puppet show being
tried out by some of the more politically edgy plantation owners.

  5. The Oakland Raiders game broadcast yesterday STARTED with the kickoff. No National Anthem was broadcast. The NFL is getting the message … loud and clear. Directly from the fans. Screw the “polls” … they’re still as bogus as the ones which gave HER a 99.9% chance of becoming POTUS. The NFL is desperate to stop the bleeding … but I personally HOPE that BLM completely hijacks the league and drives it out of business. Why? Because incompetent business leadership should never be allowed persist … and usually dies of its own incompetence. The NFL has lost its fans. At best, the NFL has divided its fans. It deserves to FAIL. Because it has lost its moral compass and mission statement.

  6. Interesting, and odd, that the guy who started this kneeling for the anthem is NOWHERE to be seen. Would this not be the perfect time for Colin Kapernick to be speaking? He’s not employed so he has no owner to censor him.
(BTW, he was offered a contract and refused it so enough of this “the owners colluded against him” BS)
Would this not be the time for him to be on all the friendly talk shows? The CNN’s, MSNBC’s, the Big Three Sunday shows? How bout the Late Night “Comedy” shows? THE VIEW?? He’d be adored.(Imagine the tongue bath Don Lemmon would give him?) He’d be fed the softest of soft ball questions and never be challenged. And he’d be free to take all kinds of shots at the President. So where is he? Has someone close to him convinced him he’s a little to stupid?

people are so tired of being told what politically-correct argle-bargle they
    must now subscribe to
… they are swinging hard right.
witness the election of roy moore in alabama. or trump over hillary and bernie.

  8. Well, strictly speaking, Roy Moore has not won the general election yet. That’s going to be held in December (why?).
