  5. I love it. Trump campaigns on defeating the newspeaking washington establishment and Hillary rings the alarm bells that Trump is an authoritarian. You can’t make this up. The various excerpts of this book I’ve read so far are comedy gold. It’s so amazing how robotic this woman is. She has to be autistic. There’s no way someone normal could lack self awareness like this.

    This authoritarian management of truth is designed to destroy the individual. It is meant to break you, humiliate you and prevent you from questioning anything including the obvious. As long as the individual exists, communism cannot exist. This is why so many are murdered under communism/socialism. This is why socialists start killing their own. Soviet Man is an impossibility because you can’t completely turn off the individual in each of us.

    I was not smart enough to know that climate change caused earthquakes and that India had monsoons. Good thing that Beyonce set me straight. I thought that a more likely explanation was that these things were caused by the recent solar eclipse.

  10. Ironically, the proof that experts shouldn’t be blindly followed is the fact HRC’s campaign was designed by a team of experts.
    Her misunderstanding of the book 1984 almost defies belief.
    As to the idea that we should trust experts – define expert. If it’s a heart surgeon and I’m in cardiac arrest, yes I’ll defer to his/her expertise. If my car engine is on the fritz and I need a mechanic, also yes to their expertise. Add pilot, plumber, electrician,engineer, computer tech and other applied science and trades. Those types are grade AA experts but even then I might want a second opinion.
    Politicians, economists, social scientists, journalists, climatologists, dieticians,researchers and the like are not of the same calibre. They vary from a strong Grade B to Grade F. This huge variability requires extra skepticism. These people’s insistence that they be given the same deference as Grade AA experts is ridiculous. I may trust a few individuals or institutions as experts but only if they maintain scrupulous standards and credibility.

It reads like a mental patient rambling into a tape recorder transcripted by a High School dropout. Awful … truly awful. Nowwwwww I know why she shrieked the most tortured sentence structure ever spoken in public when SHE said … “what difference at this point does it make?”.
    Oh … and yeah … she is delusional for thinking the Press is “reliable”. However, in addition … if I understand her ramblings correctly … she equates as “reliable”; Our Leaders, Experts, the Press, and Ourselves. Has SHE not noticed that each one of HER most reliable, trustworthy, sources of veracity almost always disagree with one-another? Isn’t it the the pinnacle of “authoritarianism” to demand submission to some fantasy of Unitarian thought? Isn’t THAT the theme of 1984? Her reading comprehension is for shit. SHE seems to believe that NOBODY (especially President Trump) should ever rely on THEIR OWN thoughts and conclusions, but must submit to an amalgam of some disembodied “authorities”. Isn’t THAT the very definition of “authoritarianism”? SHE is one sick, twisted, woman who is so self-deluded that SHE actually believes that SHE is the … ONE TRUE Authority. And how DARE you deplorables think for yourselves and REJECT HER! How dare you.

It’s been 1984 in North Korea for many decades and everyone there is under constant threat of death and torture if they even slightly shirk their love for Dear Leader.     I can’t help thinking how Hillary so admired the vicious racist Robert Byrd, and her Ruskie uranium deal for multi millions to the Clinton Foundation and a $500K Moscow speaking fee for Bubba. Speaking of Bubba, how about his monstrous record of victimizing women in the most egregious way?
    Projection; last trick in the bag. BTW Hillary maybe your ill-advised decision to go after Trump with the genital grabber tapes is “what happened.”
    He survived the weekend then came out swinging, added his own Bubba bimbo parade, and followed up with a strong debate performance.
    Then he took the safeties off just as he was considering mellowing his pitch. I think it was at that point he truly understood how nasty they were.
    He also found out who his real friends were.
    A big error that re-energized Trump, right up there with her deplorables remarks, which energized the base, but lots of other bad decisions.
    Like campaigning lightly, then ignoring Trump’s barnburner tour in key states, opting to hang out with the beautiful people, not the serfs.
    Actually, I think she left out a lot of material about “what happened.” OK, now do I get a book deal to fill in those blanks?

  25. They say that any type of publicity is good for book sales.
    Some will buy her book for curiosity, some because they are fans of Hillary, some because they are not. It’s still all book sales.
    Me? Don’t care what she says. Don’t care what others think about what she says. It’s all irrelevant and so is she. Though the book provides fodder for talking heads, no opinions will be changed. In 6 months, it will be on sale in the dollar bin at the local book store.
    I’m just grateful that she’s not the President and that she never will be. Her political life is over. It doesn’t get better than that. America breaths a sigh of relief.
    Up next, Angela Merkles new book (after her defeat in the upcoming German elections). Title: “My Struggle” about her or Four and a Half Years (of Struggle) Against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice. Or simply Mein Kampf.
    In Canada, we will soon see two other women politicians penning their way to literary redemption after their election loses in Ontario and Alberta. Okay, maybe not soon, but eventually.

    but, the significance is far reaching; proof, PROOF mind you, what monstrous malevolence lurks behind those cold eyes.
    in voting, we must select the candidate likely to do the least damage.
