  1. You DO realize that my beloved Oakland RAIDERS have beat the Titans the last two seasons … I see no reason for a reversal of that trend.

  2. We have two guys on my football team who watch NFL religiously–everyone else only watches with half-interest until after the CFL season is over and we all start to go into withdrawal.
These two guys get teased mercilessly about it. We call it “their stories” and continuously compare it with professional wrestling. For actual football guys, the NFL is just not as good a game.
I find some young people, and especially guys who have never played football, claim to prefer the NFL, but when you ask them why, they don’t seem to give a real answer.

  3. My NFL pick: They are still mixing politics with football, so I’m taking a knee. They can go to h3ll.
It turns out the CFL provides a fine substitute. I may need ESPN3 to see it – sacrifices must be made.
Go Stamps ! After that there will be curling . . . see you in Regina in March.
    Thank you Canada !

  4. The NFL?
Oh yeah, that league where some of the oppressed players refuse to stand for the National Anthem, while earning $19 million per year.

  5. Anyone who watches a sport where spoiled brats don’t stand for the national anthem, that dresses their players in pink for a month and which wastes 4 hours in a tedious plodding boring game that resolves nothing…is a complete idiot.

  6. People prefer the NFL because the commentary, camera work, and overall presentation of the CFL sucks. Also most of the players aren’t good enough for the NFL. It’s your right to disagree but the only one you are fooling is yourself.

  7. Because the players are a whole lot better.
The speed, size and athleticism is superior.
The jets they fly over are better and the stadiums are bigger and better the beer’s cheaper the foods better and cheaper, oh and NFL tailgates are 10,000 times better (imagine drinking a beer in a parking lot if you can).
Shortman’s syndrome – CFL /NFL football is embarrassing.
    GO BILLS!
