  3. Imagine that !? We have an Attorney General who actually ENFORCES the LAW … and FOLLOWS the US Constitution.
    So … now it is up to The Congress to MAKE Law … to CHANGE Law. So what will Congress do? Will Congress effectively ERASE our borders for EVERY CHILD on the face of the planet who “Dreams” of a better life in America? Will the Congress show … cum-passh-un … for every foreign child … and disdain for every American child who “dreams” of an America that gave his/her grandfather a wonderful life? Will the American Dream be GIVEN to foreigners … and DENIED to Americans ?
    VOTE -OUT any and all Congresspeople who dismantle our borders.

  7. There’s a pretty good chance that Congress will come up with something allowing most to stay. Given the youth demographic, and the taxpayer investment in education and health care, that’s a pretty strong argument for a pathway to legal status. Trump has closed the door to new applicants and his rhetoric on the wall and increased support for the law has significantly reduced the continuous flow of illegals. As for bringing them into Canada, I would rather we take American educated Hispanics any day over the usual Muslims and eventual Shariah. Any one of them would be more fit for the PM’s job than the Spawn.

    NO! John it is not that simple…The dreamers are claiming Parental Abuse, and those parents need to pay back the fraudulent taking of benefits & be deported…
    What a pathway to citizenship would allow is FAMILY amnesty and ALL the family gets citizenship….

  9. My Cali brother Kenji may well be right about the President’s team having put Ryan, McConnell and the rest of the Swamp GOP crew into a box. However, my celebration is somewhat subdued…it is just SUCH a damn shame that it has to be this way, that this Administration has to burn time and calories outwitting what should be its own team.
    I know what to expect from Pelosi and Shumer. As goes the old fable, a scorpion will always be a scorpion. It is , however, beyond disgusting, the constant pushback of the GOP against the President who not only earned their party the White House, but also had no small part in the election/re-election of many of them to their seats in Congress. My local paper yesterday had a headline to the effect “Royce rebukes Trump…Arpaio Pardon..” Ed Royce is the local congressman from North Orange County, like 22 years in Congress. You know, my first thought was “thanks a bunch, Ed…Pelosi and Shumer rebuked him too!”. Thoroughly disgusting.
    These clowns “rebuke” President Trump with vigor and regularity they could never seem to find for Obama as he took countless moves that attacked what their conservative principles should abhor. Did they ever “rebuke” the courts that violated / ignored our immigration laws, that resulted in US law enforcement persons such as Sherriff Joe taking action to protect their citizens!?!?

  12. Good but what is really needed is a form of punishment to Mexico for dumping their illegal invaders across USA border. A “one bomb for one illegal” policy should be implemented. Whereas for every illegal invader crossing the Mexican border a government building in Mexico would be selected at random and bombed to dust, from presidential palace (that could use bombing on principle) to tiniest city hall in the middle of Tarantino country.

  14. Chris…you hit the nail on the head. Why is it that “conservatives” (or as I like to call the modern version of conservatives…people very slightly to the right of socialists) always have to submit to bad press from lefty’s? The progressives have been stealing bases for decades, and when someone like Trump gives the rest of the GOP a blueprint for doing an end run around them they pee their pants and revert to their longstanding game plan of capitulation.

  15. Cali-Chris; … every rebuke of Trump … is a rebuke of ME! People like ME in Orange Co. (there should be PLENTY of “me’s” in Orange Co … where my conservative 34 yo daughter lives) need to REBUKE their GOPe Congressman by relieving him of his governmental duties (at the ballot box). The RINO’s are being cut-out of the herd … they are easily identifiable by their yellow look of jaundice caused by their conservative cowardice.
    When we allow the LEFT to summarily ignore Federal LAW … we are allowing our country to descend into becoming a shithole like Mexico, where one needs to BRIBE $$$ “law enforcement” to attain justice. The Left in our country is being bribed by Soros et al to ignore “unjust” LAW. He was even able to bribe our former President into a series of ILLEGAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, Executive orders. Our country has been sold out for a few pieces of silver.

  16. God I hope there’s enough sanity left in the states for a pathway to legality to be implemented. I mean, amnesty is totally inevitable. There’s no way it’s not happening. We should know how this movie ends. It ends just like the ‘resistance’ to gay marriage.
    However it is not true that Trump has shut down cross-border movements of people. That stopped back in 2008. The US illegal immigrant population has been the same since then.

  20. This is not just about 800,000 DACA Children that where brought illegally into the USA….The total will be >10 Million & counting.. It could include whole Mexico villages because they are claiming a Right to “family reunification” …through a back door maneuver…
    This (family reunification) provides priority to ALL family members of “Legal” Immigrants who have earned USA Citizenship..Extended Family could includes Parents,siblings, Grand Parents, Aunts & Uncles and Cousins..It is an “earned” privilege
    The solution is not Simple! We have work Visa’s available for those that do not include a path to citizenship. That should be the only option for DACA illegals..NO other Privilege

  21. What I outlined is very likely the reality. I expect you will remain silent when trump goes along with what comes down from congress. This has little to do with conservatism – rather it is about doing what can be done under very difficult political circumstances.

    The DACA program doesn’t offer legal immigrant status let alone a path to citizenship. It only grants a temporary two-year period of legal presence and employment authorization.
