  1. The question is when will it be enough. If some extremist wants to push things, they could demand that all trace of humans be removed from North America–I mean, Turtle Island, right? After all, I’m sure that some ancient animal species objected to those people coming over from Siberia via the Bering land bridge.
Yeah, I know that’s absurd, but so are the attempts to scrub our history of all alleged wrongdoers.

  2. A proposition.
As it is now the fashionable thing to scrub our history of those past due to their association to what was deemed a genocidal act, it would be in line to demand that those that held communism in high regard should have their name removed from all public buildings.
The point isn’t that I would actually want it done the point would be to demonstrate the left that we can use their justification to rename the airports in Montreal and the one in Toronto. Think of it more of a debate response to just leave out there. Heck you could go further and contend any current office holder that admires communist dictatorships is not legitimate.

  4. Diversity is a strength…

Advertisers are so worried about being accused of racism or homophobia they are shying away from using images of white people and straight couples.
More than a third of these said they were taking this approach to “prevent perceived discrimination”.

  5. David Thompson’s journal of his exploration of the Kootenays and journey to the mouth of the Columbia becomes more threatened each year. He talks about finding natives starving in their eden just as his expedition starved at times.
He records how Kootenay natives were not particularly interested in trapping for furs. They wanted trade goods in exchange however. Was it David Thompson’s responsibility to provide the native’s rationale for not wanting to trap? Thompson made a deal with the Lower Kootenay’s to provide 4 guides to take Thompson overland from Creston to Invermere but they abandoned the expedition after 2 nights on the trail. Was it David Thompson’s duty to provide a reasoning for why they did that?
The artist, Charlie Russell, recorded his early interaction with Flathead natives in Montana. He recorded how the Catholic Church established missions in northern Montana and how Flathead Indians welcomed them as protection against raiding Blackfoots.
This type of original material is being removed from libraries and universities. The favored view of North American native life prior to Euro ‘invasion’ is societies in balance with nature and harmony between tribes. Today we know that is not true. Starvation, warring and slavery were more the norm. Tribes were anxious to interact with Euros because it gave them technology for living and warring that surpassed anything they were capable of.
The intellectual dishonesty being conducted in North America is massive and is going unchallenged.

  7. Butt thats so Racist, so only them dirty mixed race couples and homosexuals need soap?
    The law of unintended consequences.
I am sure some enterprising lawyer is even now, shaping the class action lawsuit, Unilever implies only those “dirty” people need their product.
Look their advertising is suspiciously racist….

  8. But I think it is great, just wait until we get to 1917 and the “temporary” income tax.
As these lying parasites..AKA a fully established Kleptocracy..erase history, their claims for payment fall on deaf ears…FU that never happened being a great line of modern edumacation.
Socialism..this time we are gonna get it right..
Intellectual dishonesty is a requirement, a necessary prerequisite for career parasites.
It is impossible to project a viable future society in which the majority steal from the few, unless you are willfully blind.
Remember; Do not steal. Your government hates competition.
The minions making up our current infestation really do believe..”We are here to help you”
“Investing in the future” By impoverishing the present citizen.
    Spending ones way to solvency!
And based upon our current citizenry and those who seek elected office, the only cure for the mathematical delusion is fiscal collapse.
And Venezaula shows us how deep the free lunch delusion will go..

“ottrob says… shying away from using images of white people and straight couples.”
out here in rural eastern ontario, the walmart flyer will not display a caucasian child without them having an arm around an ambiguously bi-racial companion. not too black, mind you… more halle berry than oprah.
similarly, canadian tire has populated the camping supplies section of it’s advertising with again, ambiguously bi-racial males… wearing plaid shirts, attending butane stoves and putting up tents. post-national justin would be proud.
of course, if either of the actual stores out here has any non-caucasian employees… i have yet to see them.

  10. I greatly admire Sebastian Gorka! He disagreed with adding more troops to the forces in Afghanistan. Thus, he apparently had to go.
“The truth might lie in the middle: Chief of Staff John Kelly’s reported decision to withdraw Gorka’s clearance led Gorka to resign. Alas, few if any reporters were self-aware enough to recognize the cognitive dissonance: How could they have reported for months that Gorka lacked a clearance when, indeed, he had one all along?”

  11. The journals of David Thompson are very good. He was a keen observer of those who he met on his journeys and he writes in a down to earth style that is accessible and interesting.
The story of Sask and its people by John Hawks printed in 1924 has some interesting stories about the fierce nature of the Indians and the bitter feuds that were waged among the various tribes.

  13. I used to really like Stevie Nicks.
    USED TO……
untill I noticed, in THREE different versions, of her singing Silent Night…… she could NOT bring herself to say the words “Christ The Saviour is Born”.
    Nope.
    Could not say “Christ”.
    I guess that’s Californication for you…..
    Now back-to your previous programming……
