Every child is a target in Israel. I suspect an armed child is less of a target. Canada allows 16 year old soldiers and the US allows 17 year old soldiers but not in combat. I suspect Israel has very much the same system. Soldiers seemed to get gunned down in Canada or the US too. People love criticizing Israel.
