  1. It appears that being Baron Manschausen is a requirement for being a Liberal cabinet minister.
That’s two who’ve been caught telling nose-stretchers. One should have resigned but got demoted in the last cabinet shuffle. Might we expect the same with the second one?
Then again, Clown Prince Shiny Potato’s good buddy, a former community organizer from Chicago, had a cabinet full of people who told tall tales as a matter of practice.

  2. This is what the students in California should be rioting over. Of course if they did, the cops would be busting heads for sure.
The Staggering Administrative Bloat of Universities
Obviously Napolitano’s office is particularly bad as compared to peers, but she has 1667 staff and spends over a half billion (billion with a B) just on the office of the President! This is not in any way shape or form the total administrative size of the system – each university has its own administrative staff, for example. This is just her central office. This is a staggering number. It equates to every student in the system paying over $2500 a year just for the central headquarters staff that they will never see, this is before the first dollar is spent on their individual campus — or God forbid — on teaching or academics. To my mind this is way more of a scandal than her hiding a money reserve in various accounts.

  3. Bill Nye, the US version of Canada’s fruitfly genius scolds CNN after he gets schooled on climate change by a real scientist. This nutjob has, like our own nutjob, has suggested, “…that throwing global warming skeptics in jail could be a potential solution…”.

  5. A highly entertaining read:
“Shoving Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals Right Back in the Left’s Ugly Face”
The Left is getting massively out-Alinskyed, and the hilarious thing is that this band of withered hippies, unemployable millennial safe-space cases, and unlovable + unshaven libfeminists don’t even know it. Oh, their masters sure know it. Soros is bitterly having to ramp up his infusions of blood money to keep his community-organized “grassroots” movements afloat. The less dumb ones among the lying dinosaur media are panicking as their influence fades, and Chuck Schumer is enduring such a non-stop parade of serial humiliations that if the Senate were a penitentiary, he’d be McConnell’s prison Mitch.”

  6. Bill Nye is only a “scientist” in the sense that he is a follower of the ideology of scientism. In other words, because he’s a “scientist”, his assumptions about political, economic and social matters are more “reasoned” and “valid” than yours or mine.

  7. AGW RIP.
    Green-red Wipeout.

“EPA wipes its climate change site day before march on Washington
Visitors to the website on Saturday found it was ‘undergoing changes’ to reflect the agency’s ‘new direction’, as thousands protest climate inaction” (grauniad)

  8. Sajjan File: Ad-vance and retreat.
“So the CDS, an Afghan veteran, is not aware of Sajjan’s Medusa problem? He must be the only one in NDHQ.”
    …-
“No questions allowed about Sajjan and his Op Medusa claims, says Gen. Vance”
“As CTV news had noted, in an interview from 2015 before he took office, Sajjan referred to himself as “the architect” of the operation and attributed the praise to Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Jonathan Vance.
“If I can quote him, he said I was the architect of Operation Medusa, one of the biggest operations since the Korean War that Canada has led. We took the fight hard to the Taliban,” Sajjan said in a video.
So it made sense for the journalist to ask Vance the question.”

  9. Nye is a “scientologist.” That refers to people who claim to be experts but aren’t at all, like climatologists for instance.
When people ask he me if I have an accounting designation, I take a page out of Nye’s book and call myself an accountologist. IOW not an accountant.
I suspect Nye knows even less about accounting and economics than he does science. BTW his “experiments” “proving CAGW” are laughable.
Being typical “ologists,” Nye and Gore don’t expect anyone to actually check or attempt to replicate their “high school physics experiment.”
    https://wattsupwiththat.com/climate-fail-files/gore-and-bill-nye-fail-at-doing-a-simple-co2-experiment/
Oh and Al Gore, expert propagandologist?
“When it comes to the more complicated sciences specifically involved in matters relating to the atmosphere and climate, Gore was practically a dunce:”
When John C. Davis, a retired teacher and assistant headmaster at St. Albans, was recently shown his illustrious former pupil’s college board achievement test scores, he inspected them closely with a magnifier and shook his head, chuckling quietly at the science results.”
“Four eighty-eight! Terrible” Davis declared upon inspecting the future vice president’s 488 score (out of a possible 800) in physics.”
“Hmmmm. Chemistry. Five-nineteen. He didn’t do too well in chemistry.”
Expertise in chemistry and physics might come in handy to fully understand all the dynamics and variables involved with meteorology and climatology?”
He also got a C minus in introductory economics. Quelle surprise. Not really. BTW, how does one fail Divinity School, with 5 F’s in 8 courses?
