  1. D’ya remember when ALL those GOPe’s were questioning Trump’s “TRUE” conservatism ? When they insisted that Trump was a liberal in disguise ? That Trump donated $$ to HER … and other Democrap politicians ? That Trump could NEVER be trusted to be a “TRUE” conservative ? Yeah … well let me be crystal clear about this … the GOPe has done NOTHING for the American people. NOTHING. For all their professed ideology, they have put exactly NONE of it into useful practice. What the American people have been DYING-for (literally) … is an INDEPENDENT conservative with the (sorry) BALLS to do things so desperately needed for the American people. President Trump’s cabinet choices are FINALLY doing what the American people sobdesperately NEED. Thank you, President Trump. Thank you !
President Trump didn’t LOSE … the CRAP Obamakkare reform vote. The GOPe LOST it. Paul Ryan LOST it … the (marginalized) REAL conservatives in the House successfully torpedoed the GOPe’s crap bill. President Trump played his hand brilliantly (as always) … he expressed support for the GOPe while fully well knowing that the crap bill would NEVER be approved because of the REAL conservatives in the House. President Trump is not … publicly … opposing the GOPe, but is privately and systematically undermining the remnants of their power. The GOPe is becoming more and more marginalized day-by-day. The GOPe exposed their FAUX-conservatism in Ryan’s Obamakkare bill … and the American people were sickened. Now it appears as though we will get a REAL repeal of Obamakkare … not the pathetic Ryan version.

  2. …”profitability, not buzzwords, not catch phrases, or a federal grant program”… OMG, I have been waiting soooo long to hear words like this from a federal official. Profitability more important than buzzwords??? What a contrast to anything coming from the Canadian feds. Done. I am moving…

  3. “…the number one farm preservation tool we have is farm profitability, not buzzwords, not catch phrases, or a federal grant program.”
Well, okay. All this self-sufficiency stuff is fine……………but you’re not scrappin’ corn-sourced ethanol, or anything crazy like that, right?

  4. “The tribe, funded by an EPA grant passed through the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, had a budget of some $655,000 for the campaign. The EPA’s inspector general has yet to release a congressionally requested audit into how the money was used.” Wonder if/when that would have happened under the Democrats? Gotta love it

  5. “…the number one farm preservation tool we have is …”
On THIS side of the Border?
    Oooo, oooo, oooo! Lemme guess!
Supply Management for dairy, eggs and poultry?
The ethanol market: 40% of the corn crop goes to produce a government-mandated energy-negative fuel?
FCC (Crown Corporation/tax-payer liability) loans – that don’t need down payments or repayment of principal, that operate just like subprime mortgage loans?
    Tile drainage grants?
    Etc.
    Etc.

  6. Agreed.
What’s surprising is that he didn’t run on core conservative policies. He ran on what was deemed the third rail (immigration).
If Trump significantly reduces the size of government & regulations, most conservative voters will forgive any other misstep…because who would be the alternative candidate who wouldn’t immediately reverse this course?
Trump has voters, many who are loyal & passionate.
But he does not have many elected officials. Perhaps because most lack passion & loyalty?

  7. Trump doesn’t many elected officials. Very few in fact and this may be his Achilles heel. Not having and chits to call in hampers his ability to get bills passed.
Trump needs to figure out how to play the game in the beltway or he will quickly squander his political capital.

  8. Trump just has to tell the people what the Senate Filibuster represents… The Corrupt Senators steal everything & anything that is possible…It is arm twisting, sticky hands all around, Pig F&&&.
The corrupt Republicans MUST be told to eliminate the Filibuster and take responsibility for Governing the Country. The idea that the Communist arm of Democrats are interested in any partisan agreement is beyond fiction…..
The 1950’s Congressional partisan cooperation does not exist… unless it is used as an excuse to steal.
The filibuster only enables corruption…. Mitch McConnell needs to Govern the country or resign…

  9. “President Trump played his hand brilliantly (as always) … he expressed support for the GOPe while fully well knowing that the crap bill would NEVER be approved because of the REAL conservatives in the House.”
Riiiiight. Sure. So when Trump publicly implored his supporters, one day before the pulled House vote, to “go with our plan. It’s going to be terrific – you’re going to be very, very happy. Call your local representative, call your senator, let them know you’re behind our plan”, it was all secret code for “Nah, don’t bother. Wink, wink! I know, and you know, and I know that you know that I know that this crap bill will never make it to a House floor. I’m just saying all this, even at this final desperate hour, to trick the failing NY Times and other fake news outlets, and the House Speaker, and the Republican (RINOs!) majority, and the American people, and most of the world, into thinking that I personally support this bill, because…well, I’m not entirely sure why (Psst! Jared! Stephen! What’s the political upside to doing all this again?). But don’t worry, it’s all part of my brilliant, beautiful plan! MAGA!”

  10. I was told, but could not find any documented evidence, that each spring the Mississippi River was un-navigable. This was due to the large number of buffalo carcases floating down to the Gulf. If this were true, the removal of the buffalo has caused an imbalance in the river’s food chain. Thus, to return the waterway to natural conditions it would have to be mandatory for a few cows to be led to all waterways in the drainage system, be shot and left to go floating down. Not doing so is starving the fish.

  11. Sorry … the definition of INSANITY is the Unicorn-thinking of one-world, without borders, ruled by a detached effete political hierarchy that insists on harmony … or you will be eliminated. Their version of a Disneyesque happy happy good time future vision comes with a very dark and grim loss of self. Humans are, and always will be … Tribal. Seeking fellowship with others who share common values. And no … that sort of “nativism” doesn’t consider skin color or accent, but is ONLY concerned with common values. Nativism springs from our CORE instincts for survival. And our CORE instinct of SELF determination. Trump voters have this character … in spades. It is EXACTLY why he was elected.

  12. “… the definition of INSANITY is the Unicorn-thinking of one-world, without borders, ruled by a detached effete political hierarchy that insists on harmony … or you will be eliminated.”
The commie scum under Lenin and Stalin tried that. Now they want to try it again under “Globalism”.

  13. To see how that “Unicorn-thinking of one-world, without borders, ruled by a detached effete political hierarchy that insists on harmony … or you will be eliminated. ” just look at present day Africa.

  14. Agree on ethanol , but it has an expiration date in the legislation enabling it. ( way too far in yge future, imo.)
This is good because it cuts funding to the radical left org pushing got it. Most people don’t know the radical left is financed by the taxpayers .

  15. “who let cows wade in rivers.”
hmmm. kinda like has been happening all over the WORLD for what, 20,000 years we started domesticating things?
