The UN suits the narrative of the Canada’s progressives only up to the point when Canadian peacekeepers have to fire a shot then they get them the hell out of there. Great for photo-ops and that’s about it. Oh, and a good excuse to go to New York to catch a play on taxpayer’s dime.
Same UN troops passing on Israeli troop movements?
Yes,WHY are we “still a member” of the UN? Because no PM will take us out of that organization if the USA hasn’t already done so,and they aren’t about to leave either.
There are facets of the UN that are usable by various governments and activists,and they merrily cherry pick the facts the UN provides to suit their agenda.
We ARE a member,and always will be,unless,faint hope, an American politician decides he has had enough of their corruption.
Don’t hold your breath.
I am sure that Israel watches the UN watchers real close and are very alert at night.
