Raising eyebrows among some critics, former CBS anchor Dan Rather is now teaching an online course focused on ethics in journalism.
Called “Journalism & Finding the Truth in the News” and offered through Udemy, the class is aimed at both media career aspirants and the general public.

The attack on Bush, even if true, was pretty lame. Even if it was true, he probably did 98% of his military service. Also, this was back in the day when records from the visiting National Guard unit had to be mailed to his home unit. This involves a lot of steps. The clerk had to prepare the information, the CO had to sign it, the clerk had to mail it, the receiving clerk had to receive it, process it, and file it. The staff were likely a mix of part-time and full-time people, not immune to error or omission. I was in the Canadian reserves almost back then and correspondence from soldiers’ summer duties outside the regiment seemed to keep showing up for months.
The MSM has lost their influence, nobody trusts a biased Media with an agenda… If they want eyeballs to return to the Network news, try doing the News butt bare Naked….Nobody cares for the editorial content coming from NYC or California….

The MSM is an entertainment product tailored for the demographic the management and advertisers wish to serve. In most cases it’s directed and limited by profit margins. However taxpayer funded government media can easily become the government’s mouthpiece and beam blatant propaganda selected for the population with below average intelligence.
So we finally arrive at the existence of the CBC including where its funding comes from, its mandate and its target audience. All in just a couple of sentences. Why don t Canadians comprehend this reality.
