    Anyone who plays games online knows how it works. Third world countries hire peasants to go through the motions. “Gold” sellers will grind out in-game crap and then for $10 bucks or so you can get it transferred to your in-game character.
    That you’re giving your Credit Card info to scammers in China, Pakistan and other shit-holes doesn’t seem to enter into the minds of the fools who buy it.
    Same with online spam. For the 0.05% of people who click on the links they usually go to Javascript vulnerability pages and your machine gets cracked or they’re selling something to get access to your $’s. The payoff is usually greater than their costs of hiring some coolie to manually put spam up on websites.

  22. Harper ignored the media as well. As much as I liked it at the time, it eventually came around to hurt him in the last election. It will be interesting to see how Trump deals with the MSM going forward. He played them like a fiddle for the election. Things are little different now that he’s got the conch.

    Bruce, I think the past year has made it rather clear that even if Harper had somehow managed to shut down the CBC, Trudeau would have just resurrected it. Hell, I’m still waiting for the announcement that the Libs plan to reacquire the Canadian Wheat Board and restore it’s monopoly.
    As per the MSM, tune any one of them in and you will quickly see that they have learned nothing from their recent shaming. To my eyes, the only adjustment has been to double-down on the hate-mongering. Even CBC is still beating the “deplorable Trump” drum. It is an act of masochism for a rational person to listen to or watch anything masquerading as news or commentary from ABC, CNBC, CBS, CNN, CBC (minus Rex), BBC, NYT, Red Star ,Guardian, etc. It is condescending, nihilistic, green-preaching, hate-filled, deceitful bilge.
