    But the PC clowns have been claiming race is a “construct” (article in the Toronto Star just today titled, “little scientific support for concept of race”). How no.-31-that-you-shouldn’t-say is any different is unclear.
    Which proves that political correctness is not about minority rights, it’s about power, control and shutting people up.

    A similar idea has been posted here. I repeated it once or twice but another person came up with it first.

  5. He who wishes to be offended won’t have to look far or wait too long to have that desire fulfilled. Similarly, one man’s offence is another man’s mirth.
    I’m sure that lefties throughout the universe became apoplectic at what I just wrote. Not only did it not account for everybody else’s “needs” and “feelings”, I had the audacity to use gendered pronouns. (Gasp!)
    Frankly, I can’t be bothered to give a rat’s patootie as to which pronouns I should have used. The ones that are considered acceptable nowadays sound more like entries in the periodic table. I’m sure I could pick any combination of chemical element symbols at random and use them as pronouns and most SJWs will be happy. Meanwhile, someone somewhere will, instead, take umbrage at what I’ve done and go berserk.

    If I was Prime Minister for just one day, I would limit ”honorifics” to Mr. and Mrs. for older people, Sir and Madam for judges, prime ministers, members of parliament and legislature, church leaders and the Roughriders.

The msm is relentless on the 11 year old Tapes and the Democrats are definitely pulling out all the stops. The Republican rats appear to be abandoning ship. It is difficult to ascertain if they smell blood or they are shaking in their boots. It difficult to believe that this is the first we have heard of these tapes or that there isn’t more surprises to come. Today Kevin oleary suggested Trump may step down out the race and preparations are presently underway. So far as I can see , at this point this is pure speculation. However if this should happen , it raises some interesting questions. Was this a brilliant plan to protect a Republican nominee from months of media pounding ? ( whomever it might be ) .Is it nefarious ? Have we been duped ? It’s pure speculation. I suspect Trump has much more support than the polls suggest, but I have no evidence. It is apparent he and his family will be paying a significant personal price to stay in. To me it all has a strange resemblance to the hunger games. In your wildest dreams, kind of appropriate tonight. I am fearful for what we have left of our democracy. Thoughts ?

    By the way, the series, apparently, was never released on DVD in North America but was, and may still be, available in European Region 2 video format. That’s a pity, because there are a lot of fans on this side of the pond, largely because it was shown on PBS.

  11. As Rush Limbaugh has been saying, it wouldn’t matter who the Republicans nominated, they would be savaged as Trump is being savaged. Remember how Romney was treated with stories such as driving with a dog in a carrier on his car roof? Sarah Palin of course was treated like dirt.
    If someone like Trump with all his experience and resources can’t beat the forces against him, then who in the future will present himself if he or she has anti establishment ideas. For all his faults, Trump loves America and will feel awful if he loses and lets people down.

  13. Perhaps the voters here and in the US should be looking at the person most likely to take real action at getting to the heart of the scourge of humanity called ISIS coming out of the ME and spreading, infiltrating our western democracies.
    What is being done to get the head of the snake? We are sitting back like bystanders as Iran keeps working on the big boomer. The so-called “United” Nations is is a sham. What are we waiting for? What’s it going to take? Who will actually do something to eradicate the scum of the earth movement calling itself ISIS/ISIL? Hillary Clinton? Donald Trump? With weak leadership here and the US we are in a precarious mess.

    There are as many as 1,193 new emails in the latest release, bringing the total to 6,526. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has claimed he is sitting on as much as 50,000 messages.

Is that all that matters to the people of america, leader of the free world? Who is to blame if it’s not the media, largely supporting one candidate and we know which one.

    For what it’s worth Roache was later acquitted. I’m just saying, this has all the hallmarks of a Demmedia hit job, which of course, it is.
    The problem for the NYT is they may have just crossed the line in their desperation to kill Trump off, and his lawyers will probably come calling soon.

    Because if Donald is unfit for illicit luridity, so also are 95% of all men, due to something at some point in their lives, in words or deed.
    Women know if once-lurid men were outcasts, exiled to their man caves, then they’d get stuck with having to do even more of the work.
