  1. I rather think that legislature needs a three-month work session in various daycares who specialize in very small children – with a special emphasis on sanitation requirements.

  2. What was that proverb about mass transit again?
Tisk, tisk, those risk adverse Torontonians.

Riders against TTC axing subway train guards: Poll
    http://www.torontosun.com/2016/09/28/riders-against-ttc-axing-subway-train-guards-poll
The Mainstreet Research poll commissioned by the union that represents TTC operators and maintenance workers shows 67% of those polled are against removing the guard positions.
Bob Kinnear, Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 113 president, says the plan to eliminate the guards shocked many people.
The move from a driver-and-guard system to a lone operator will take place in October, with estimated savings of $18 million a year, TTC spokesman Stuart Green said. The system is safe and used all over the world, including on the Scarborough RT line, he added. …
Among the findings in the Mainstreet poll:
    • The disapproval rating was 67%, with 19% in favour of the move and 15% with no opinion.
    • The cost of a guard is about five cents per ride. Of those polled, 43% said the cost is the right amount, 27% thought the amount was too little, 14% said it was too much, and 16% said they didn’t know.
    • 9% of those polled said there was no reason to have a guard.
The poll of 1,136 Toronto voters was conducted on Sept. 20 and 21 and has a margin of error plus or minus 3 percentage points 19 times out of 20.

  3. Now, after the damage has been done and it will cost the people even more to get rid of the damage. That is like closing the barn door after the pigs have scampered out. Speaking of pigs, the fellow that got Ontario into this trouble is now the chief advisor to Le Petite le pomme de terre.
“Ontarians have never been this angry,” declares a presentation of the Innovative Research Group poll, to be revealed Wednesday afternoon at the Ontario Energy Association conference in Toronto.

More clocks that don’t keep time, (I’ve had two,) alternators that don’t charge, (I’ve had 3) flashlight batteries that leak and corrode. (I’ve had several.) and clothes that falls apart. (I cant count that high.)
Vote Liberal, and we’ll get our Canada back!!

ISIS EXTERMINATOR: Trembling jihadis being picked off by veiled vigilante wearing a BURKA
TERRIFIED Islamic State (ISIS) fanatics are being picked off by Iraq’s very own Caped Crusader who is gunning down jihadis in a burka.
Quivering militants have been left too scared to leave their homes for fear of falling prey to the mysterious veiled vigilante.
Two fighters were killed instantly this week after a figure in full Islamic dress whipped out a pistol from the folds and swiftly dispatched them.
The deadly double hit is the third of its kind in the city of Mosul this month, and has sparked chatter amongst militants of a hijabi hitman in their midst.
And terrorist chiefs are now so scared of the robed revolutionary that they have imposed a ban on burkas in their Iraqi capital.

  7. The one thing I said to myself, once I realized I was listening to a lunatic, was she is not of the Jewish persuasion. I would have bet a million dollars she wasn’t, knowing I would win the bet.
My heart goes out to her sons. Obviously her husband is long gone and is possibly now changing his name.
Further, after seeing this example of a Hillary supporter, I say most respectfully:
Lord, please help Trump win. Please!

  8. It’s a little amusing to hear Canadians criticize Trump as not being qualified to be POTUS when these same people voted for an empty suit with a recognizable name tag. I’d say a person who has been successful in the business might be better prepared than one with some training in the dramatic arts.

  10. Invite that person to Canada. He can become a citizen. Does not even have to remove the burka. We are all about diversity and acceptance of sinister cultural practices.

  13. Kate … your intelligence entertains me endlessly ! I see what you’ve done here … by slipping this geeky, geeked-out, HACKER marketplace video into countless stories about Voting machine hacking and fraud. I cannot understand a single thing they are talking about … but I will certainly understand the DAMAGE their “cute” little devices will wreak on the political landscape. I PRAY that the white hats outnumber the black ones.
