  2. I always wondered when they’d go after him. Looks like this is the smallest opening possible but it’s all they need. I hope he’s been paying attention all these years: don’t retract, don’t apologize, don’t retreat – it won’t do him any good anyway. Punch back twice as hard, as he likes to post…..

  6. I remember watching some bullcrap video about some animal rights terrorists chaining themselves on a road on youtube years ago. I commented that one man’s “protester” is one man’s speed bump. That would hold true with these highway rioters also.

  9. Eventually … BLM, OCCUPY … INTERNATIONAL ANSWER … and the whole trashcan of Socialist Front Groups will learn what GLAAAAAAD (sheep bleating soundtrack) learned. GLAAAAAAD used to like hanging banners from the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge to agitate for Gaaaaaaay “rights”. Week after week, all the EXTREME leftists … really RICH leftists … commuting to and from Peacock-Feather Southern Marin County … had to endure hours long traffic jams while the bridge was cleared of the “clever” activist protesters. It didn’t take long for the public … the EXTREMIST leftist, sympathetic, Bay Area public to LOSE ALL PATIENCE with Glaaaaad’s antics. Glaaaaad actually became HATED in the looney leftist Bay Area. No one even remembered what they were “protesting” … they just wanted them GONE ! Glaaaaaad became pariahs in the community most likely to support them.
    So … there is ample evidence that … “Run em over” … is what most everyone else is/was thinking, but not yet ready to say. Not to worry … when enough freeways are blocked … BLM will fade into nothingness as more and more citizens hit their accelerators. As more and more citizens exert THEIR civil liberties and LAWfulness to drive their cars unimpeded by lawBREAKERS.

  13. It only makes sense that the “educational” branch of the institutional left, being engaged in the narrative indoctrination business is also engaged in eliminating competing ideas. Its why the left avoids debate but instead prefers to censor. The left is threatened by reason, critical thinking, morality and numeracy and since they avoid such by cocooning themselves in their invented “safe spaces”, its consistent with shutting down free speech.
    I agree with Reynolds. I still think that looters should be shot on site.

  14. Well, I think he apologised honourably and honestly, and I think an honest man would accept that, and a decent man would excuse him. I suppose we must watch and see what the dishonest and the indecent will do.

  16. There was no reason for him to apologize. He was right, the aggressive, whipped into frenzy Blak Thugs Matter mob was assaulting people. Running those thugs over would be nothing else but self defense which is a most basic human right.
    In all likelihood he apologized to deflect flak. This never works with the SJW mob. SJWs will treat this apology as admission of guilt and use against him, going full Milo would probably be a better strategy.

  17. So what are you supposed to do?
    In fact, if the crowd was blocking a fire truck or ambulance from getting to a life threatening emergency, why wouldn’t you be justified in running them down or shooting them to enable the emergency vehicles through?
    If the ‘protesters’ who are in reality rioters are threatening your life, why wouldn’t you be justified in running them down to protect yourself?
    If the dean was in her car with her children and the rioters were tearing her car apart, wouldn’t she be justified in running down any rioters who were in her way?

  18. Evidently, Glen Reynolds is making people of low IQ and dark skin, but I repeat myself, feel unsafe while they destroy the artifacts of a civilization neither they nor their ancestors could have built.
