  1. Hopefully some of this was dirty and we get an inquiry. Bags of cash etc etc would be a nice touch along with the nannies and all the other nonsense.

  2. Hmm,
It is worth to note how many laws rules and regulations the airhead changed really, really fast after he took over.
How is it then that they did not change the regulations on moving expenses and other such.
Could it be that they like the free stuff much like the next guy …… you say?
Yeah, power corrupts, though it is safe to say that those in power now were corrupted most of their lives.
    What a low life scum.

  3. The Grit gorging began immediately upon them taking power, and obviously as we see continues unabated. Meanwhile a $30b deficit for no growth.
But check out the really cool offices, fit for a king. They never say that in their out loud voices.
The truly scary part is Toronto voters don’t get that so everyone gets a pummeling from the destruction of business confidence, except the well connected.
Now that they’ve “discovered” the Air Force must have new fighters within 24 months: Coptergate: the sequel.
Watch closely as this government becomes the first in history to choose a major military asset that is obsolete before it is even chosen.
Even our hero Chretien failed in this endeavour, choosing obsolete equipment just before it was obsolete, cancelling its vastly superior inconvenience.
Because it’s 2016. Or is it 1968? Change to what again? Parliament is back in session, so time to stock up on taxpayer largesse.
Ah GHGs. Harper’s targets. Trudeau’s taxes. Adding inflation to an inflationary economy in a currently deflationary world, brilliant.
Almost as smart as the pure genius that we can use people’s money to make them richer, by creating jobs and destroying ones created by greed.
Entitlement is way better than greed, right? In progressive bizarre world anything is possible.
I shouldn’t be so glum. When interest rates rise they’ll actually be able to sell their long term bonds. That’s a good thing right?

  4. Four strong winds that blow lonely,
    Seven Seas that run high
    Liberals stealing and lying,
All these things that don’t change
    come what may

  5. Trudeau said they were following the rules as set by a previous government! So there it is, nothing to do with them.

  6. These people didn’t earn it.
Plus, there were no taxes in the Stone Age. It was a trick promise.
The lesson here is that if you elect a trust fund champagne socialist who was born with a silver spoon protruding from his orifice, you have to remember that he doesn’t know the value of a buck and $200K is meaningless to him because he never worked a day in his life.
$200,000 buys a nice home in some parts of Canada. A lot of Canadians understand that.

  7. Strange how the Liberals have been on a mission to undue everything the previous government did as quickly as possible but when questioned about their excessive moving expenses they say “hey, we’re just playing by the rules of the last government”. How convenient.

  8. People like doctors DO earn more than $200,000 and do so fairly.
I said tax people back into the Stone Age, not that there were taxes.
Canadians clearly don’t understand the value of anything or how Trudeau is so stupid that he should be wearing a helmet and have a cork at the end of his Sesame Street fork. If they did, they would not have voted for him.
I would like to see him attempt to fulfill that promise, though. I imagine the Rosedale set would be most affronted. Paying taxes is for proles who work with their hands, for God’s sake!

  9. Canadians elected this bunch barely 10 years after they were caught stealing millions of $’s of tax payers dollars. Progressives now control all aspects of society that count towards maintaining their agenda. Education, media and now government. There is no coherent group providing a counter to this situation.
I no longer make any effort to counter the progressive argument. My take is that it will take a serious economic correction/depression to correct this situation. Even then there is no guarantee as the real ‘radical’ left could just as easily gain control. One might suggest a better one.

  10. ‘They’ refers to the people who were given the moving expense $thousands.
    They didn’t earn it.
People who work for government don’t pay taxes, they live off of taxes and might give some back.
    But not in this case.

  11. I’m a red-blooded liberal hater, so let’s not go there with comments about me being some pantywaist liberal shill.
This drive-by piece relies on the ignorance of many who have not had to pack up and move at the behest of their employer. For those who had, and had failed to negotiate realtor’s fees…well too bad for them. It would not be hard to imagine there were a more than a few granola chompin lefttards who had to pick up and move out of their $1.5M Beaches shack. Not to hard to rack up 50-100 grand just in realtor fees alone.
Nothing to see here…’cept more journalist incompetence.

  12. Don’t you know? Members of The Natural Governing Party of Canada (TM) are entitled to their entitlements! How dare we, the Great Unwashed, expect them to earn their keep and pay for things out of their pockets.
By the way, my mind develops antibodies against liberals.

  13. But this is why Trudeau should appeal to them to pay their fair share.
Imagine the sucked-lemon-face looks on their faces when asked to pay back their entitlements.
Imagine the backroom grumblings and the suction needed to swallow one’s pride and back Hair-Boy despite it all.
That is worth money to watch.

  14. What you crying about! It is expensive to move the Yacht from Cuba to Ottawa & the Queen E
    accommodations & transportation.

  15. Not surprised at all. The election is over and taxpayers money won’t be important for another 3 years. Always the same. Wash, rinse, repeat..

  16. Whenever a politician on the left says something like “deliver on our promise to grow the middle class” I always assume they mean to create as many government bureaucrat jobs for life with benefits and large pensions as they possibly can.

  17. My dear Justimbecile Trudeau, think of all the parkas that money could have bought!
we would have world peace by now!!

  18. I wonder, when Sophie is out, does Justine walk around shirtless flexing his muscles in full view of the nannies?

  19. Wouldnt surprise me in the least if the bulk of these expenses are related to a real estate transaction using a realtor with more than just a professional relationship with the staffer. Of course im only speculating.

  20. Well Dano – I have done a fair number of real estate transactions and it is not that hard to negotiate those fees down to 2% on properties that sell for well less than a million dollars – but then I don’t work for the government .

  21. After the ongoing shrill demands not long ago over a 90k loan to a senator as substantial proof of wrong doing in the PMO I expect the media to make this their headline story till the next election.
They should start with demands for Gerald Butts resignation.

  22. “Canadians elected this bunch barely 10 years after they were caught stealing millions of $’s of tax payers dollars. Progressives now control all aspects of society that count towards maintaining their agenda. Education, media and now government. There is no coherent group providing a counter to this situation.”
Exactly! And, the media, just like it does with Hillary and her lies and fraudulent Foundation, will do its best to run cover for their Camelot Couple for the next three and a half years.
Kate’s header is bang on, nobody with any clout cares, only when a Conservative buys a $16 glass of orange juice is there any media outcry.

  23. Ruh Roh… turns out 65k of that was generic “expenses” which they are going to repay. Looks like it was straight up theft afterall. Is anyone surprised?

  24. Well, just as we idiots down south ‘had to have’ our mighty Kenyan, you guys ‘had to have’ this scurrilous heir to the checkered Trudeau legacy. In the long run it means little, since in the long run we’re all dead anyway. Remember, it’s no crime if done by one of the special class…and remember too, we ain’t in that special class.
