  2. Watched The Big Short on Netflix last night. A very entertaining albeit depressing look at the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis. Of course Hollywood doesn’t blame the Democrats who threatened banks so they would grant more mortgages to minority groups. Doing so would just mean blaming immigrants and the poor.
    Can’t help wishing the same type of movie would do an indictment of how incredibly corrupt the media have become in their support of Obama snd Hillary.

  12. Now let’s see….. coal-fired plants are being phased out in both Ontario and Alberta. Both provinces are run by communists and espouse political ideologies that George “Toad Face” Soros would be delighted with. He wouldn’t by any chance be considering buying all those unused assets, would he?
    Nah. That would be about as probable as a former drama teacher and trust fund brat being elected as prime minister of Canada…..

  15. The disrespect by NFL players needs to follow the lead of the Olympics. Ryan Lochte was suspended for 10 months for his disrespect of Reo & the Olympic family. If any player of any team disrespects the anthem on Sunday 911… The whole team & franchise must be suspended…We have suffered through NFL contract negotiation that suspended the whole NFL season…Why play the stupid?

  16. why not just stop watching football all together ..maybe we could get things done as people nations ect ect maybe we would not have creeping sharia or safespaces if moms n dads actually spent time with their kids rather than sitting on their fat arses watchingsports playing video games and the likes and instead played footbal with their kids maybe we would not have spacespaces on campuses cuz they would not be needed becasue kids were raised right.

    Make your political expressions on your own time, but here on the field, we are one, a team, all of us, and that includes standing for the national anthem.
    First offence is a $100,000 fine, with fines doubling with subsequent transgressions. For the math challenged, 2nd $200k, 4th $800k.
    Actually let’s just make the fourth a million bucks to make it easier for everyone. You have free speech, but it comes at a price.

  26. Canadian values should be obvious to anyone who bothers to think about them. Unfortunately, too many on the left do not bother to think about them. It should also be obvious that some people seeking to cone to Canada do not share those values. Criticizing Leitch for her tepid attempt to raise the issue is politically exploitative and ignorant. Canadians will pay a price for allowing such stupidity.

  28. To those who decry Kellie Leitch there is evidence of one “new” value in Canada that is a drain on the taxpayer. Or is this now a Liberal value?
