6. Well it may what’s called “new math”, it just doesn’t had up with 2 plus 2 is 4, 4 plus 4 is 8 etc,etc.
   In Ontario an inordinate amount of time has been spent on sex education giving it more consideration than the three R’s. Apparently all else falls into place as long as you know the newest version of the birds and the bees in the 21st century AD.

7. The Ontario education system isn’t really an education system, in fact, it has less and less to do with actual education. The education system, thanks to years of NDP and Lib kowtowing to their union backers, has been morphed into a life-support system for teachers’ unions. That is its prime function: teaching little Johnny that 2+2 is 4 is an afterthought. As Thomas Sowell once said, a hundred years ago we taught Greek and Latin in high school, while today we teach remedial English in university. That’s progress, or at least, progressive!
