  1. Common cold viruses originated in camels, just like MERS
    Date: August 18, 2016
Source: German Center for Infection Research
Summary: There are four globally endemic human coronaviruses which, together with the better known rhinoviruses, are responsible for causing common colds. Usually, infections with these viruses are harmless to humans. Researchers have now found the source of ‘HCoV-229E,’ one of the four common cold coronaviruses, to have originated in camels…

  2. Is Obama going to hand over control of the internet to the U.N. on Sept. 30th?
    By L. GORDON CROVITZ
    Aug. 28, 2016 5:52 p.m. ET
“When the Obama administration announced its plan to give up U.S. protection of the internet, it promised the United Nations would never take control. But because of the administration’s naiveté or arrogance, U.N. control is the likely result if the U.S. gives up internet stewardship as planned at midnight on Sept. 30.”

  3. Is September 30 really “D-Day for the U.S. Dollar” as Jim Rickards is Warning?
“This time, and on top of every other pressure our cash already has to face, there’s an exact deadline on the calendar . In a nutshell, it’s an event scheduled for Friday, September 30th.
“By my best estimate, what’s coming will go down around 4 pm.
“And when it does, you’ve got no idea yet how radically this could end up impacting your financial safety.
“Not only could this event gut the U.S. stock market… and cannibalize your retirement savings… but it could ultimately END what we’ve come to know as the American way of life.”

  4. But but but but saving lives!!!!!!
Gottaa keep all those junkies alive, if we let them all die, what will all those nurse, social workers, EMTs, poverty pimps (contractors and lawyers), activists, bureaucrats and sundry other poverty personnel do? They would have to get real jobs, helping people who actual WANT help!
Let the effin junkies follow their Darwinian path

  5. How much is present obama being paid to deliver the internet ?

Lance- I have enjoyed these Aztec videos.
The peaceful indians didn’t have a clue, their king/leaders allowed these heartless savages-
(pun intended) to grow in their beautiful valley like a cancer and continue practicing their heartless religion.
Funny how a Canadian PM and an American Brown Clown present have the same clueless attitudes.
If we allow History to repeat itself, many will be slaughtered..

  6. ‘Hunger Strike’ in Venezuela, is that some kind of joke ?
    Ha.
At least the other starving people will have a little more to eat..

  8. I second the nomination; a great article. The final paragraph says it all:
“There’s always been a paranoid fringe in our politics, steeped in racial resentment. But it’s never had the nominee of a major party stoking it, encouraging it, and giving it a national megaphone. Until now,” Clinton said. She’s right — but it’s her, not Trump, who is that nominee.”
Hillary led Penn by 10 last week, now by 3. Hmm, dead heat in Ohio, Trump gaining nationally.
She has been unable to grow any of her vote and her hypocritical hysterics were a direct result of black votes migrating to Trump.
The writer is correct. It makes her look desperate.

  9. Progressive Conservative Leader Patrick Brown is promising to scrap the Liberals’ sex-ed curriculum if his party forms government after the 2018 election.
In a letter distributed this week — with days to go before a byelection in the east Toronto riding of Scarborough-Rouge River – Brown wrote that “a PC government would scrap the controversial changes to sex-ed introduced by Premier (Kathleen) Wynne and develop a new curriculum after thoughtful and full consultation with parents.”
The curriculum was updated last year, for the first time since 1998, to include same-sex relationships, and the dangers of online bullying and sexting.
But parts of the curriculum were controversial for some parents, who complained that the government should have consulted them more. Others were angered by mentions of same-sex relationships, gender identity and masturbation.
The changes prompted some parents to protest and even pull their children from public school, saying the new program is not appropriate for school-aged children and does not align with their values.

Sorry, like Nanos, the polling is not to be taken very seriously

  11. Human Abedin is separating from Anthony Weiner. (She’s slow, but she gets there.) The final straw was Weiner schnitzelling via cell phone with a woman, while his young son was sleeping beside him. Carlos Danger is a degenerate slob.

  12. Boy Blunder hasn’t had to make many tough decisions yet, and those that would have been media frenzies under the Conservatives, have been Page 45 fodder with the media friends, such as his “pipelines are still necessary” speech to enviro-children, and his backtracking on the “93 recommendations” for the natives, for example.
The media is still managing PM Peter Principle’s messages and actions, minimizing the bad, and maximizing his topless appearances.
    Cuz like Selfies!
What will Dufus’ biggest challenge be in Beijing anyways, Dim Sum or Stirfry?

  13. His biggest challenge won’t be what to eat, but to decide who’ll choose for him: Buttshead or Soapy.

  14. Letter from Kevin O’Leary to Premier Wynne
    “Hi Premier Wynne,
    I’m worried.
I asked you to keep me informed about the $1.9 billion you are extracting out of the Ontario economy in new carbon taxes. I was excited when you promised lots of new jobs and reductions in carbon emissions. Then I saw the July jobs report. Wow, 36,100 Ontario jobs lost in a single month, the worst decline since the recession, and you still haven’t told me any good news about carbon emission reductions. I guess your new plan is not working….”
