How do we integrate immigrants? Is it by bringing foreign cultures to Canada and forcing boys and girls to have segregate swim times? That is what is happening at the University of Regina summer camps. Brian talks about integration, the Supreme Court, Conservative Party leadership and how Instagram is taking on SnapChat in the social media wars.

  1. This is all part of Canada’s divisive multiculturalism policies, we will be seeing more and more of it entrenched as we continue to flood into our country people who are not going to accept our way of life because we will accommodate them, that’s what we do. Canada will eventually become a weakened country of “communities” on ethnic/cultural/religious grounds, stand for nothing.

  2. Where is the lbgqt lmnop outrage ,sorry can’t keep up with the additions of the week

  3. Canada will cease to exist. no country or culture can withstand a constant onslaught of peoples who do not and will not respect their host countries laws and mores.

  4. Cal2. What I want to know is where are our gutless feminists on all of this. They scream misogyny, rape, unfair pay, etc. but not a peep about “honor” killings, stoning of lesbians,or the Mooselimb practice of “stay barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen”. These feminists(read ugly, unmarried harpies) define useful idiots to a tee.

  5. So, will the tranny(self declared girl) be swimming with the girls then? Any media dare ask the U of R? Any media ask the muslim parents whether they’re cool with the possibility that some of those girls taking swimming lessons with their kids actually have testicles and penises? Any media ask the queer society at the U of R whether trannies should be allowed into those swimming classes, or asked whether trannies should just stand down to the muslims? Any media ask the femaNazis what they think of turning back the clock with segregated swimming based on ones sex? crickets I’m sure.

  6. Tell that to the present federal government, it will fall on deaf ears. Canada is welcoming is the mantra, we are a nation of immigrants is another tired old excuse for allowing everything we stand for to be watered down and eventually washed away. Strong and free as our anthem goes is fast becoming weak and subservient. How long before “God” is struck from the anthem?
I predict sharia law will be entrenched within this decade while we sit on our collective butts and watch the sun set on Canada as we have known it.

  7. “What I want to know is where are our gutless feminists on all of this”
Now that’s a good question, because I keep asking Sunera Thobani that at UBC
    sunera.thobani@ubc.ca
….and I ask Judy Rebick at Ryerson U the same question ….
    jrebick@politics.ryerson.ca ,
but they never answer me. Maybe if you folks give it a try??????

  8. “while we sit on our collective butts and watch the sun set on Canada…”
And that, my dear Liz J, is precisely the problem!
Years ago when we were trying (without great success)to get rural Ontarians to fight against various pieces of legislation that trampled on property rights, an Ottawa broadcaster suggested that our enemy was public apathy. I told him that I thought it was gravity – holding people’s arses in their chars.
The real problems of course are the by-products of generations of comfort: laziness, selfishness, and timidity.

  9. Out of Enclaves, a Pressure to Accommodate Traditions
Needing to abide by their tribe’s traditions of modesty, Hasidic women want the city to post a female lifeguard during a women-only swim session at a municipal pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and have lobbied a local councilman to take up their cause.
On another front, Hasidic matzo bakeries, citing ancient Jewish law, have insisted on using water from groundwater wells rather than from reservoirs in preparing the dough used for matzos and have found themselves tangling with health officials worried about the water’s purity.
And on a public bus service that plies a route between the Hasidic neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Borough Park, Brooklyn, men sit up front and women in the back, hewing to the practice of avoiding casual mingling of the sexes, even after Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg condemned the arrangement.
While these episodes may not have reverberated beyond New York’s Hasidic enclaves, taken together they underscore a religious ascendancy confronting the city’s secular authorities in ways not seen in decades.
The remarkable rise in the population and the influence of Hasidim and other ultra-Orthodox Jews has provoked repeated conflicts over revered practices, forcing the city into a balancing act between not treading over constitutional lines by appearing to favor a particular religious group and providing an accommodation no more injurious than suspending parking rules for religious holidays.
A politically astute new generation of ultra-Orthodox leaders has become savvy at navigating the halls of government, while the grand rabbis of Hasidic sects wield electoral power like few religious leaders can, turning followers into cohesive voting blocs. “No one can deliver votes like a rebbe can,” said Samuel Heilman, a professor of sociology at the City University of New York, who has written extensively about ultra-Orthodox Jews.

  10. “How do we integrate immigrants? Is it by bringing foreign cultures to Canada and forcing boys and girls to have segregate swim times?”
This is invasion, it is not integration.
Canada does not need foreign culture.
However we may need foreign people who want to emigrate to Canada and adopt Canadian culture.

  11. Being inclusive simply means not discriminating based on identity, it doesn’t mean being an obsequious doormat.

  12. @Rizwan:
Well you can crap on the Jews all you want but at least they are not partial to suicide vests like the ‘you know who’s”

  13. Hilarious… like the Sorcerers of the Supreme Court aren’t an exclusive enough elitist club already along comes PM Butthead and his retarded pet Trudueatard to make it even more exclusive by imposing the diseased social engineering scheme of forced french (“bilingualism”) onto the selection process, hooray! Hey, forced french has only cost over a trillion taxpayer dollars since its imposition back in 1969, no big deal, and the fact that less than 2% can speak french outside of Queerbec, probably even less in the corrupt law society, yipeee! I guess when you have an inherently bigoted social engineering scheme like the forced french act (“bilingualism”) and you have an autocratic unelected unaccountable Court dictating social, economic and energy policy to an emasculated Parliament the two should be forced together, like shit being mixed with more shit… Mmmmmmmm shit… Trudopiastan sure is awesome!

  14. Once again, the inherent contradictions of progressive thinking:
On the one hand, all, er, “genders” will be able to use the same washrooms at the pool; on the other hand, the actual swimming itself will be segregated by, er, sex.

  15. Jamie….I also keep sending them emails about their double standards. Funny. I never get an “unable to deliver” message, however I never get an answer back. Maybe they don’t like me because I am male. :):)

  16. Estimated global Jewish population: 14 million.
Estimated global Muslim population: two billion.

  17. “Maybe they don’t like me because I am male…”
Well, that would give them a feminist leg to stand on, wouldn’t it? But you and I both know that they don’t respond to us for the same simple reasons they don’t speak out against the barbaric cultures: they lack guts and honesty.

  18. My guess they will not be using the same washrooms at the pool without snoopervision…..

  19. This does not bother me too much. It is along the lines of having boys and girls camps — something that has been done for ages. I would have a bigger problem if there was an attempt to impose this at public pools.

  20. Yes — but they are running a camp for kids. In the past, many kids went to all girl camps or all boy camps. The funding at U of R is not the central point. I think it is more the degree to which others will be inconvenienced. In a public (municipal) pool genders are pretty much mixed. That’s the norm. Anyway, I am just saying that this particular issue does not bother me. I guess it bothers you.

  21. The more we choose to give/give up, the more they’ll expect/demand. If I wanted to live with the traditions imposed by another culture I’d emigrate. No, thanks. I expect my government and public institutions to protect the culture we have.

  22. Would it be considered racist or simply a protest if were people to start urinating in religious footbaths. Gee, I just thought it was a fancy head?

  23. This is just the opening wedge. Once Canadians become comfortable adjusting cultural mores to accommodate Islamic laws of gender separation, it is just a matter of time until Muslim cultural requirements begin creeping ever deeper into Canadian culture – such as it is.
Canadians eagerly adopted multiculturalism in the belief that all cultures would be partners in one big happy family. Little did they realize that, while meek and mild Canadians readily change their ways, Muslims do not.
In time, Sharia Law will become a full partner with English Common Law and Canada will become a province of Islam.

  26. City center Aquatic Complex in Coquitlam, BC is having its ‘women only’ swim October 10, 2016.
Only males permitted entry are boys under five years of age. Not only all the lifeguards will be female but also all the cashiers and even the cleaners will all be female. Men who enter the lobby even are told to leave.
Freedom of Information documents reveal that these women only events were requested by local Persians several years ago. My own polling of swimmers reveals that most people are unaware of the shariah-compliant factors of windows being covered is being born by the city (property tax payers). Typical responses were ‘I am all for women only swims, but covering all the windows, that is ridiculous’ and ‘when is the men only swim?’
The rationale given by the Coquitlam Recreation department is that it is for women who have been victims of rape or have poor body image. If that is so, why no male cashiers? Has there been a rash of oglers bringing women to tears in the pool, or mobs of men standing outside or in the lobby harassing girls?
The first pages of the FOI documents reveal that these events are responding to Muslim ethnic-Iranian lobbyists in BC.
I don’t hate Muslims. But I do hate being lied to by politicians.
