  1. It grates my onions no end when I hear about someone being above reproach because they ‘sacrificed’ their child. They did no such thing! The son, of his own free will signed up to go where Uncle Sam sent him. He was not drafted. He did not discover a coin at the bottom of his beer glass. He volunteered. What’s more he broke the fundamental law of warfare so clearly enunciated by George Patton “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.” Having so died there is no above reproach righteousness attached to the parents or their politics. The son died. The parents are advocating Sharia Law for the US it makes none of them saints. Having lost a son myself I know I did not sacrifice him. He did what he did of his own volition.

  2. Joe, so well put and I am so sorry for your loss. Gopher, love the pun.
Trump needs to double down on this guy and get his history out there to expose his agenda. When I see a sunni woman standing by her man I see a mutilated woman.

  3. It was political malpractice what Trump said regarding Mr.Khan and his wife.
That said… it was completely fair game! The bottom line is… these folks became ‘fair game’ as soon as they stepped on the stage at the DNC. PERIOD!
The problem is… none of this alleviates the political mess Trump has created.
Prediction: Trump can/will win the election ONLY if/when a terror crisis happens BETWEEN the last time Trump puts his foot in his mouth and election day. In other words… Trump fate is dependent on real world events intervening(which is very likely).
Finally… email dumps from wiki are an unknown variable in this election.

  4. Khan appears to have been given an opportunity to play politics, using the fact his son was killed in battle and he’s making full use of it. When someone enters into the political fray they better be prepared for anything, it’s a dirty game. Khan shouldn’t assume it will shield him from any scrutiny. Shame on him.

  5. really, you that dumb are you. It’s LIVs like you that create political messes. Trump Khame down hard on the lying A-holes, and that caused many to look into Khan Khan’s back ground, and now Khan Khan looks like a political idiot, but you blame Trump, nice try BOY

  6. Khan is a sunni who is promoting sharia law and conquest of the western world by immigration . We need to wake up and slam the doors shut. His son’s life has nothing to do with what this man is and what he is doing. He is a danger to women and all the people can’t decided who or what they are. When you see a Sunni man with a woman standing next to them know that that woman is a mutilated person physically and mentally and emotionally. She is a slave. He is a fiend.

  7. Wrong! It’s a political mess because Trump threw-up a softball for the press. Regardless of the right/wrong of things… it is perceived to be uncouth to “attack” parents of vets. I’ve been swayed not one bit by the ‘scandal’; therefore, your comment is verifiable incorrect.
I stated clearly that it was “fair game” for Trump to respond; BUT, that doesn’t alleviate him of responsibility for the negativity he is experiencing regarding this comment. His play, his responsibility.
Trump has been VERY astute when it comes to how to play things politically; he has failed miserably in this case, and the case with the Trump U judge.
    Cheers

  8. BTW, NOBODY (relatively speaking) will hear ANYTHING about Khan’s background. NOBODY!
Perhaps in Lala Land where you appear to reside the folks will follow-up on the Khan family to ensure their first impressions are correct; but, in the real world, and especially in the USA, NOBODY will ever hear anything negative about Khan UNLESS they go over to Drudge.
I suppose being called “dumb” by SDA’s most infamous dunderhead should be perceived as a complement.
    cheers

  9. Indianahomez, who doesn’t go over to Drudge and Breitbart and Alex Jones? Especially in today’s BIZARRO WORLD?
That Khan character’s act smelled like a setup to me, as soon as I saw him…and shortly afterward Breitbart posted an expose’ of his links to the Clinton machine and the Muslim Brotherhood. The guy’s work is in speeding up Muslim immigation. I have a feeling that Sean Hannity will be on this tonight.

  10. Almost every libtard i know(in AZ, most of them are friends) WILL NOT go to any of those sites; nor, will they turn to FOXNEWS; and this is a RED state.
As a rule of thumb… IF a story is not covered on CNN, the NYT or the Washington Post, it does not exist to a liberal.
I can assure you, that NOBODY cares about the KHAN follow-up EXCEPT for those that were skeptical to start. JMO

Mr. Trump did not ‘create’ this mess, this is just one more example of how the media horde, when it gets its marching orders, all dutifully spin the story in order to ‘create’, manipulate, lie, distort, and deceive on behalf of the Democratic Party and that criminal Clinton woman.

  12. Bed wetters like you cannot see the what is happening. Had Trump been pulled into the sobbing, he would have pissed off his supporters. They would have checked as many did and would have considered Trump just another pol.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when the Dems hand the microphone to someone? What kind of hor$eh1t is this guy talking about? Thinking people know immediately that the opposite is true and all you need do is google him to verify your conclusion.
Trump had to attack – no choice. Khan is now a proven liar and Hitlery shill. Billery supporters would not be swayed by Trumps attack – they are lost brainless zombies, much like you Indiana.

  13. This business was surely the ace card in the pack for the American press. They have been pouring it on in spades. Again and again Khan is being played with his harsh tones accusing Donald Trump. This, they must have thought will sink Trump. I even heard some joker in the Democrat Party use the old Welch statement against Joe McCarthy. “Have you no shame?”. This against Trump.
Chances are they have peaked too early. I have viewed American elections for over 50 years. The organized and contrived juggernaut against Trump, dwarfs the job they did on Barry Goldwater.

  14. I see what Homez is saying. He’s saying that most people will be focused on the accusation made against Trump and few will hear Trump’s actual position except those who are already predisposed to hear it.
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
    ~Sir Winston S. Churchill
And I can see why Homez says that. I must also say that I think that Homez is for Trump and isn’t pooping on anyone’s parade, he’s just calling it like he sees it to keep everyone real.
I think that Trump is a Media Master. I am very impressed, and surprised, by his media manipulation.
Never-the-less I reserve judgment on whether or not he can or even choses to deliver on his promises.

  15. So it all comes down to rolling the dice on Trump because we know for sure what we will get with hillary and we don’t want it. Think Supreme Court. Ticked off at the rhinos who are going for billiary. Now we see who they really are scum. It’s all been a scam by them. It never was about the American people. A man beats them by their rules and they quit. Right.

  16. I keep seeing the bridge of the uss enterprise with Capt Trump yelling Kaaaahhhhhnnnn.Trump has got to quit rising to the bait like a big fat rainbow trout.Stay on the damn message.

  17. “Trump has got to quit rising to the bait like a big fat rainbow trout.Stay on the damn message.”
Yes! That’s exactly what Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Laura Ingraham and Bill O’Reilly are telling him. Good advice.

  18. Yeah, and good ol’ Frankie is sitting at a 90% disapproval rating.
And he hitches his horse to Choloate Jesus’ latest crusade to try and take down Trump?
Sure. That outta turn out well for him.
Hollande, enjoy getting ass-raped by all those musloids in Nothern Paris. They’re not exatly Reggie Love types, if ya know what I mean.

  19. In fact it’s crucial Trump accept and act on that advice; otherwise he not only torpedoes his chances but GOP chances in Congress. Some moron at Fox was just talking about how Trump glued his brothers shoes together when they were kids as a sign he cannot change.
Trump acknowledged with O’Reilly last night he should stick to attacking Clinton and Obama. When some co-opted man, who frankly demeans the death and contribution of his own son, makes a partisan statement leave the response to the underlings who have the political moxie to handle it properly.
Trump’s problem is he takes it personally and doesn’t fully understand the mediocracy will decide for themselves what he meant and run with it, so he should keep his powder dry. Hillary hasn’t had a press conference in this year and only spoke to Chris Wallace/Fox because he’s a pussy and she had her lie of the lie ready. She gets it on that level but Trump does not yet.
Trump must position himself to take advantage of past and upcoming peccadillos by carefully crafting what he says. The latest Fox poll puts him 10% behind Hillary, despite more confidence of terrorism and the economy from the voters. IOW his problems are superficial and in need of some kind of intervention (and help for a change) from the GOP to help rather than hinder him as is now happening.
Two-thirds of Americans feel the country is headed in the wrong direction, yet Hillary is ten points ahead. Remember how Reagan confounded the media with a 10% win when the media said it was too close to call (like Brexit?). I think reticence of backing an outsider but also shyness in admitting liking Trump is driving polls. If I’m right they are neck and neck right now, but Trump should be ahead as Reagan was at the same time.
It’s time for a passionate speech from Trump saying he regrets somewhat some of his comments, but cannot stand the thought of America continuing to lose, so he reacts out of concern for his fellow citizens. Anyway, lots of headaches and lying to the nth will be required from Hillary and her crew when all the leaks come back on her, which could show her and Obama criminally implicated in illegal arms transfers.
I used to think Hillary was stupid to get nailed on documentation, that she was too good at covering up evidence, since she’s been a perp for thirty years. Now I see she is utterly indifferent to security, safe in the knowledge no lie she tells the American people will cost her. So she keeps on lying.
The fact is the Dems think they are the best Americans can do, because that is the best they can do. Trump must show the voters they can win with him only but also he has the temperament to handle the awesome responsibilities of president including control of her nuclear arsenal.
Ironically Hillary is the reckless one with her abominable judgment showing up in her input in Syria, Libya, likely Iran and Russia. Pacifists, though will never understand if one backs off from aggression, they can expect more and their kumbaya attitude brings the danger of war closer, not further.
