The focus next time should be enough permanent changes that can’t be undone. Gut the dairy boards, the egg boards, anything to do with Quebec, and shut down the Cbc.
They said they were going to create jobs . I am sure some Liberals will get some good ones out of this . Of course it has nothing to do with creating wealth .

I think if my memory serves me correctly that the “Craven Country Music festival” Camp grounds were flooded several years ago and the FED’s would not allow them to be drained….They wanted first dibs on any work profits….Unions & civil servant rights…The area was drained!

The reason for doing it this way is so that the politicians can evade any responsibility. They don’t have to make a decision at all because they can claim that they’re only giving the people what they want and, if the proverbial hits the fan, the politicians know who to blame.
Nothing but cowardice and spinelessness…. and people voted for it.

The Liberals will not be approving any pipelines. There are two reasons for this. One is that they wish to handicap the West as an economic and political force in Canada with a plan to ensure indefinite power for the Eastern elites (Quebec and Bay Street). The second is that they are being directed by the globalists at the UN, and the globalists are pushing the global warming scam and also wish to dis-empower the West. Any delays are welcomed by the Liberals as it helps to keep their real agenda under wraps. Of course these perpetual delays will hurt Canada, but that is not the Liberal’s first concern.

I saw a lot of that nonsense while I was teaching at a certain post-secondary institution.
The last department head I answered to was a promotion-hungry bureaucrat, spending most of his time in self-promotion. He was always kissing up to someone at a higher level in order to get himself noticed but he neglected his duties as an administrator.
He was the one who inflicted the “student as customer” nonsense on the place, along with all the “quality” malarkey. In order to give that baloney credibility, he was always looking for ways to show how our department improved. He even went so far as to create a crisis or two to show to the right people how he could take charge and resolve the situation.
I’m sure that this sort of thing happens in other bureaucracies.
The whole point of federal control of fisheries is lost on the prairies. There is no (at least significant) migration of salt water fish into our rivers. Provincial fish cops and environment guys are enough of pain without the Ottawa based idiots who seem to dislike us.

I used to subscribe to “Frank” and it wasn’t very kind to Dr. Garneau. I remember one article written about him when he was head of the Canadian Space Agency. He apparently wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Why do Modern Liberals want to believe that fish(even non-existent fish)are more important than food production and livelihoods ?? Simple, this is how they think:

After reading the Winnipeg Free Press article I suspect that prairie rural municipal councils will once again have to repair broken culverts at night when Oceans and Fisheries bureaucrats are busy sipping their lattes at the Starbucks in the cities.
