They weaponize the agencies and departments of government against their own citizens, they limit the constitution and constantly erode the amendments and now the openly oppose and reverse the first principle of the rule of law, innocent until proven guilty. America is not a land of liberty and it has no home for the brave, not with Democrats.

  8. We all know what the problem is: 30 or 40 years of unchecked immigration from countries with no history of democracy or the rule of law and no yearning for either – and it happened under Republicans, Democrats, Liberals, and Conservatives.

    So, we learn from Feinstein that Democrats do not really believe in the centuries old liberal democratic concept of innocent until proven guilty.
    Ask yourself why is it that the left always wants to have the public disarmed? Based on the experiences around the world during the last century I think we know why.

  16. Teddy Kennedy, the lying lion of the US Senate was on the no fly list, and could not get removed. If the most powerful US Senator could not get his name cleared, how likely is Joe Palooka from Whistle Stop Idaho to get his name cleared? I am sure the Keystone Kops of the DHS will get right on that! They might even clear it up before the young man dies from old age.
    I do not want an unelected, unaccountable, faceless bureaucracy deciding what Civil Rights I am entitled to today. Neither does the US Constitution.

    Nope. The 2nd Amendment is to assure a) the ability of the people to rise up and depose tyrants from government and b) to assure the rights of free speech and a free press.
    The right of self-defence is (or should be) taken for granted, although in many states it is not (like CA, my state).

  18. To expound further, the Founding Fathers didn’t specifically address self-defense in the Constitution because it didn’t even cross their minds, it was so self-evident.
    Just imagine Thomas Jefferson or Franklin looking at this shitstain Feinstein today. They would have her tarred, feathered and run back to San Fran on a rail and have that POS Reid hanged (along with about 300+ other members of congress) outside Liberty Hall in Philly.
    And our Chocolate Jesus in the White Hut? Back on his way to Kenya or Indonesia in a heartbeat after a long stint in Levenworth.

  19. The 2nd Amendment was written before modern firearms were invented, and must be tossed aside in the modern era (or so goes the argument). The 1st Amendment was written before the age of cheap, accessible and ubiquitous communication (via the computer, cheap printing, and the internet), and will be attacked on the exact same basis. They’re taking on the 2nd Amendment, knowing there are enough uninformed people who might just go along with it; taking on the 1st Amendment in such a bold move might just wake up too many.
    This isn’t to say that the 1st Amendment isn’t under attack, for it is, but it can’t be fully removed until the 2nd is out of the way.

  20. to Slap Shot: I lived in San Francisco when Mayor Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk were shot and killed by former Supervisor Dan White. The Board of Supervisors in SF is the equivalent of a City Council. Dan White was NOT a former police chief; his position was the equivalent of a City Councilman.

  21. There was a time when ME was an important source of oil for North America. Because of that Saudi Arabia was tolerated, indeed seen by some as an ally. Now we don’t need their oil. The Bush’s were co-opted somewhat by SA interests. That doesn’t excuse the present Dem and media cohabitation of financial interests with SA, with the ridiculous scenario of continued crude imports from that country.
    This sideshow has no legs and the Dems know it. So, Hillary is giving an economic tour de force. How hard is it to say her government will “invest” in the economy they “manage,” therefore “creating” jobs and gun free prosperity? She’s breaking the glass ceiling – right to the top floor where the loot is.
    The other side of the equation is non-sequitur, given racists are posing the question; or is that as hominem?
    It is surely begging the question, the oldest saw being we don’t like guns, therefore they’re bad, so you don’t need them because we don’t like them.
    You know – you didn’t build that …; we’re a part of government …; that’s what “moderates” believe – government in control being so virtuous.

    It doesn’t ring true with the 20% of so of undecided voters. Many are concerned about Trump’s foreign policy. He needs to add coherence.
    In core vote, the Dems have the edge, 40% to 33% roughly. That’s a seven point gap, roughly the difference in core votes if polling is right.
    But that is maximum 3/4 of the vote. Where will they go? To third candidates or stay home? Trump needs all of them or it’s over.
    Who can grow best out of that. Trumpists – don’t be so sure. He is precariously close to being outflanked by not undertaking a solemn promise to guide a GOP Congress to officially declare war against ISIS et al, something a Dem pollster hinted Hillary might do. It would be a brilliant stroke on her part, her best move yet, and might let her get away her abysmal judgment and poor leadership. She’s never do it; what does that matter?
    On her economics speech: no biggie. Just rewind Obama’s hopie changie speeches for the same old same old – government in charge of the economy.
    Because they’re clearly good at it? Is this voters’ belief? Connect the dots. If not the US is headed for the “what difference does it make now” economy.

  22. Feinstein’s argument is simply nonsensical. The Orlando moslem was not on any watch list. Neither was the San Bernardino moslem terrorist. If either had been, I would presume that authorities would have noticed the buy and acted accordingly. Even though this was pointed out to her in the interview, she just went right on with that nonsense.
    No, I don’t fret to much about the “prove your innocence” statement. It’s just more “I am an idiot” from the left wing of the American Democrat party. Rather what really disturbed me was the blatant revealing of the INCREMENTAL playbook. Ms Feinstein states that no guns for those on the terrorist watch list was only the first step. The second step is the “assault weapon” ban. The third is to copy the gun seizures as done by the British and the British Commonwealth countries …… we’ll get ‘er done little by little and then all at once.

  23. SA still has pull due to its oil exports being priced in US dollars. This is critical to propping up the massively QE’d US dollar. The US made a deal with the devil decades ago, as SA would then also agree to buy America’s IOUs, circulating America’s non-gold backed pieces of paper.
    America may need SA to stick to that deal more than ever today for the economy’s sake. America produces far less, and is massively in debt. SA meanwhile is in a far stronger position today for renegotiating.
    Or blackmailing.
    Or controlling.
    Use whichever adjective you feel offers the most apt description.

    Simple uncommon sense.It is not easy to massacre armed citizens, constant refrain from the MSM how easy it is to kill the disarmed and dispirited.
    If bureaucrats claim the exclusive right to defend us citizens, then it is way past time to fire them all for being such failures.

Possibly, but I think they can get out of that by reinvigorating their oil and gas sector and thus the economy, the actual way, not with artificial government created jobs or alternative energy BS. It can’t make economic sense to, especially on green grounds, to ship crude from halfway around the world when the resource exists domestically, no matter what comparative advantage may exist.
    Meanwhile, starting “fining” them for their madrassa/US mosque inspired attacks, starting at $.5b and doubling from there.
    Enough is enough, to hell with the devil. They can sell their oil to China. Somewhere along the way somebody is going to need US dollars.
