Interesting thought! When I was kid (1960s) we used to drive the city to see the eye doctor, ear specialists etc. in the Walter Scott Building on Main Street in Moose Jaw. They still had a manually controlled Otis elevator. The guy that ran the elevator was named Tony. He was a pale as a ghost, and it was the only job he could perform. The reason?? He had worked as a painter in an auto body shop and never wore a mask. He died very young.
