    What the hell is this in reference to? There are no clues …. a point of reference would help understand the line …. It’s customary to broach a topic before making a comment … so what the hell are you talking about? Curious minds need to know.

  5. J many of the visitors (including some long timers) have not been acting as guests should and have been lambasting Lance for what they perceive as errors (or incorrect views) on his part. Then they piddle on the carpet, drink the milk straight from the container, use the sink as a bidet, try to impregnate the cat, etc.
    Methinks Lance is a little tired of it.

    Lance is suggesting that too many of us have become thin-skinned in our partisanship. Any inadvertent word will be misconstrued as being in support of a Republican candidate who’s ‘not my guy’ and lead to a flame – whether deserved or not.
    Hang in there, Lance. We appreciate ALL that SDA has offered us lo these many years.

  13. What does it matter who we like or dislike for president? Most here are likely Canadian and can’t vote anyway. I personally think all politicians are lying sacks of putrid treasonous brown toilet matter.

  15. So, does anyone want to talk about the Nevada Primary? Presumably Trump is very popular in Nevada even though the West is not his prime territory. However, caucus results have been unpredictable in the past. I have seen postings indicating that Trump will pick up a decent percentage of the other candidate’s votes as they drop up — Jeb being the most recent. Jeb’s money supporter’s however are being steered towards Rubio. I do not think either Cruz or Rubio can win and the old guard is getting very, very nervous. Hillary too, since Trump has announced he will pursue criminal charges for her. That would be enough to swing a lot of people towards Trump, I should think.

  16. Well, to continue with the satire and humor…. given that 20% of the Republicans in Nevada are followers of Ethel Merman and she sang New York, New York, that should bode well for Trump.

  19. Watching Fox coverage and find it interesting that the questions never get straight answers.
    Why doesn’t the Republican establishment like Cruz? Answer petty stuff, not because he is a miserable SOB who will not work cooperatively with anyone.
    Why doesn’t the Republican establishment not like Trump? Answer they cannot control him, no mention of the fact that he has a very weak grasp of the job and would spends a lot of time talking about polls. What happens when the polls show Hilary beating him, then he doesn’t have a stump speech.
    Why are they leaning on Kasich? Because most people alive don’t understand his references “a chicken in every pot” “ the women came out of the kitchen”
    All they have left is who stands a chance to win and can get along with a few people is Rubio.

I do not expect he will be the one to work out detailed policies, but I would expect him to set the direction for change. Hillary is the one who should be worried at this point. I think a lot of Bernie supporters will stay home come the general election.

    In my humble opinion, real conservatives get cuckolded quite regularly by the progressive side. This might be happening again in Canada. Lets wait and see.
    Nevada shows once again that the people are fed up with RHINOs and the establishment.

  28. In many ways Obama set the stage for Trump. Americans voted in a black President believing it was their finest hour, and he turned out to be the most arrogant, self-serving, narcissistic fool ever to run the country. And to add to that, his wife is a racist.
    At this point Americans have had enough. Between Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Clinton corruption, useless Obama, and deadbeat Republicans it is time for a righteous and feisty revolution. Trump is the man leading the charge!

  32. Lance’s sarcasm aside, I am astonished by the tone at NRO,who collectively DO seem to prefer Hillary Clinton to Trump!
    The U.S needs to fracture the Marxist death grip on the Country for the last 8 years. The only way they can do that is by NOT electing another Democrat, but the guys I formerly admired as conservative American intellectuals are so pro old GOP establishment they’ve been struck blind.
    Like him or not,Trump is a better person for President than Hillary Clinton, period.

  34. 6 or 7 years ago when I was a noob here I made a comment about Glen Beck (a very mild but none the less critical one) and promptly got dogpiled buy about 30 people. My how times have changed.
    The Trumpening is good times, getting to watch liberal hysterics and impotent cuckservatives frantically virtue signalling at the same time can be described as a fine vintage of schadenfreude to be savored, for paradigms don’t shift this hard very often.

Already protestors seem to get into Trump rallies easily – I hope they have metal detectors at these cauci though I see chaos at a lot of them and on Democrat side people voting without going through registration.

    CNN is apoplectic, not only because of the size of the victory but because he supposedly also got the Hispanic and Evangelical votes as the cherry on top(he got most demographics, in fact). They just cannot comprehend in the least his appeal, so funny watching them stammer.
    Personally, I have never liked Trump, the obnoxious, classless blowhard that he is. That said however, I support him in this race UNRESERVEDLY for 2 simple reasons. He has single-handedly shut down the PC assholes of the left and he has exposed the establishment right as being almost as dedicated to PC’s fake morality. A real Republican or not, I don’t give a shit. He has done more in the last few months to try to steer the US back to a successful path than any “official” Republican has in my adult lifetime.
    I simply hope that Trump can help blow up the system, at least the part that ensures Americans are always slaves to one of their two great historical, dishonest and incompetent political parties.
    No matter how far Trump goes, he has already performed a great service by unearthing the massive chasm between grass roots Republicans and the old-guard party itself.
