  1. Screw the baby boomers!!! The youth of today will remember you and what you did to them . You like to talk about the lazy gen x and gen y folks …..you created them by ruining education and marriage …so yeah well a lot of youth are are waking up and are sick and tired of the crap. You are the worst generation in history.

  2. Bongo was in Alberta today and is going to hand the Notley gov’t a bunch of infrastructure (tax) money.
The Energy East pipeline is a 15 billion dollar infrastructure project that benefits the entire country. It wont cost government one cent. It’s privately funded. Is there a government in the world that would turn down an offer like that?

  3. Secret US flight flew over Scottish airspace to capture Snowden

THE UK GOVERNMENT is facing demands to reveal the details of a secret flight through Scottish airspace which was at the centre of a plot to capture whistleblower Edward Snowden.
The plane, which passed above the Outer Hebrides, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire, was dispatched from the American east coast on June 24 2013, the day after Snowden left Hong Kong for Moscow. The craft was used in controversial US ‘rendition’ missions.
Reports by Scottish journalist Duncan Campbell claim the flight, travelling well above the standard aviation height at 45,000 feet and without a filed flight plan, was part of a mission to capture Snowden following his release of documents revealing mass surveillance by US and UK secret services.
That the flight passed over Scotland, airspace regulated by the UK, has raised questions over UK complicity in a covert mission to arrest Snowden and whether any police, aviation or political authorities in Scotland were made aware of the flight path.

  4. Anyone know if there was/is some sort of explosion or big fire in northeast Regina? Based on weather RADAR it looks like it started around 9:20 PM CST last night (February 4).

  5. All you need to do is look at what’s been elected to govern, federally and provincially. Ontario is a shambles, Alberta is on it’s way, both having been the economic engines of the country. The person in charge of doling out the Equalization payments will have slim pickings, this may turn out to be a good thing, let Quebec and the others rich in resources get to work, abolish Equalization, let the provinces spend responsibly.

“Syrian army source sees Aleppo encircled soon”
“BEIRUT (Reuters) – Rebels in Aleppo will soon be completely encircled, a Syrian army source said on Thursday, as the military continues operations near the city after cutting the insurgents’ most important supply route from the Turkish border.
The source was speaking after the army and allied militia, backed by Russian air strikes, broke through rebel lines on Wednesday to Nubul and al-Zahraa, Shi’ite towns loyal to Damascus lying northwest of Aleppo.
“If the army completes its operation in the northwest direction from Zirba, and in the southwest direction from Nubul and al-Zahraa, all the supply routes will be cut. And this is soon,” the source said.”

  7. Good comment at BCF about Obama’s mosque initiative:
So the idiot sets foot in a gender-apartheid building (women and other inferiors to the back!) and then pompously states that ‘we cannot be bystanders to bigotry’
    Oh yes we can!

  8. @chutzpahticular:
The credibility of that “newspaper” is highly suspect… I’m being polite when I say that everything they print has a decided leftist spin. And what’s more leftist than seeing spies as heroes and printing unsubstantiated rumors to suit your politics. Scotland is even more f’d up than England. Why bother to read it when you know it’s just going to raise your blood pressure? I say, even if it’s true, BFD (Big F###ing Deal). Who really cares ….. violation of Scottish air space, laughable.
I read the other day somewhere that Snowden is considering giving himself up. Turns out that Russia was not really paradise and fame is fleeting.

  9. Did anyone watch the CBC “Justin Show” on Sunday? Tasha Kerridan has an explanation in the Post today of why this angered her. I do not think Liberals realize how this works –the more you see of Justin, the more shallow he becomes. I would be very interested in how much the CBC spent on this Liberal PR stunt.

  10. top 10 reasons why lieberals won the election:

“The old days where governments would be covetous and secretive (with) information to try and make a decision because government thought they were smarter than citizens, are over.”
give it time and this will be shown to be lieberal bullshyt. but it is what Canadians wanted to hear, and voted in the slim hope it was true. even for a while. promises promises promises, did Harper make claims to openness in his time? I don’t know, but this bought Trudeau some portion of support. and, if he actually keeps this promise, just try to pry him out of the PMO.

  11. “Is Trudeau a closet Muslim or he just so stupid he doesn’t realize what’s going on…..”
I don’t know about the former but the latter is definitely an accurate description.

  12. Those hacks must be getting worried. The election is over, but the Harper government remains central to their thinking. They are like a one note tune. How will they manage over the next four years without Harper to vilify, and with Justin proving to be without a thought worth commenting on? They could go after Liberal policies, but that might mean criticizing their friends. I am sure the journos would not want to do that.

  13. Bongo’s trip to AB was pure damage control. After the quebek thieves suggested they are not in favour of the Energy East pipeline a lot of very negative comments hit the airwaves/social media. His visit was window dressing – nothing more.
Notley is reeling. Can’t cope with what’s happening here in AB because, well…..this is not how an economy plays out in the socialist economic hand book. Nothing like what’s happening here has EVER occurred to her or any of her cohorts. When things get tough you just raise taxes, ramp up spending and…problem solved.
Bongo and Notley are not fit for the jobs they both find themselves in. It can only get worse with these two at the helm.

  14. Obama seems to have missed the irony of his actions, that his public complaining about backlashes against peaceful Muslims is the recruiting tool ISIS is using, not rare and contrived acts of hate against Muslim communities.
Then again, he is an identity politician, so should we expect anything else from him?
He still doesn’t know or care about the difference between Islam and Islamism. He insults the intelligence of considerate people with his LIV nonsense.
He should speak out about hate crimes against Jews, which are far more prevalent. No, that would be “off message.”
