Yep … and whites stole everything from the genius people of color. Stole their gold, tobacco, the light bulb, the internal combustion engine, oil, Magna Carta, Christianity, Nuclear technology, the transistor … and even stole their whimmen … yep … all so the white folk could feel better about themselves ! I know it’s true … because my middle school social studies teacher had us listen to guest speakers from Black Uhuru and the Nation of Islam. Paid for by the white folks taxes.
Actually, this isn’t new.
I started grad studies in the late 1970s and, at that time, I was still a devout Christian. I attended services at a nearby Lutheran congregation and most of the sermons were nothing but leftist, white-bashing polemics. (Back then, it was called liberation theology.) Whites, and westerners in particular, were responsible for all the ills of the world and every misdeed in history, or so I was supposed to believe.
Unfortunately, that way of thinking crept into other churches I later attended. That eventually led to me abandoning all forms of religious belief and practice because politics had replaced spirituality.
