  1. Thanx Kate…haven’t had the pleasure of listening to this LZ cut in years.
Still as fresh as it was in ’73.
Best of the New Year to you and Lance and thanx for running such a breath of fresh air blog site in an otherwise ‘progressively’ asphyxiated world.
Best of the New Year to the Sane Dead Animal regulars as well!

  2. Stay safe, stay well Kate, keep the elbows sharp,if need be in the SHOWRING, and keep the one-liners and the zingers coming like in the past, at SDA.
Have a successful and prosperous NEW YEAR, where-ere your path leads.
    I AM
    Joe Molnar,
and I wish you, your viewers, posters, even lurkers NOTHING BUT THE BEST in this life!

  3. Thanks Kate and to all contributors for another great year of SDA!
Please keep it coming in 2016!

  4. Appropriate choice: the ending of the new Star Wars movie is the same as the artwork on the inside cover of this Led Zep IV album.
Happy new year’s to Kate and the SDA crew! Best wishes EBD.

  5. Happy New year Kate, Lance, EBD and all the SDA workhorses who make this such a great site.

  6. So Mr. McCallum tells us that we should focus on the refugees who have come to Canada, rather than the missed targets. I think this is a classic example of Liberals making false, unrealistic, “feel good” promises to manipulate Canadians into voting for them. The most telling part of this story is that a great many “desperate” Syrians do not want to come to Canada. Why am I not surprised?

  7. Thank you to the incredible Kate and her team which help keep Canadians more fully informed than the drivel from older style media. All the best in 2016. In spite of all the rot the current governments in Toronto and Ottawa intend to foist upon us plebeians I still contend at least 75% of the world’s population would trade their best day for what I selfishly consider my worst day. Happy New Year you all.

  8. Thank you for those selections. I watched a few more of the myriad versions of Auld Lang Syne on YouTube, including one featured in an old black & white movie starring Robert Taylor (not the same one who portrays Walt on Longmire) and Vivien Leigh. I eventually found out that Auld Lang Syne is used in Japan to signal the closing of stores.
For trivia buffs, here’s the info:

    Happy New Year to all!

  9. Getting $h|tfaced and waking up with a massive hangover isn’t a “fresh start”. You’re still a loser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsnqhUuYoFo

  10. Liberal J’narcissist, royal cosmopolitan, citoyen of da world: the “regal we”, aka, the royal we.
    …-
“We’re not used to a prime minister who tells us how he feels”
“… I can only feel guilty … very aware of the contrast between my schooling and the experiences some others went through…”
“I give you my word that we will renew and respect that relationship.” (g-m)
    …-
    H/T O’narcissist.
“Talks about himself in the 3rd person singluar or uses the regal “we” and craves to be the exclsuive center of attention, even adulation
    – Have a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his “mission”.
    – Sets ever more complex rules in a convoluted world of grandiose fantasies with its own language (jargon)”

  11. How maudlin. I don’t want to know how the PM ‘feels”. I want him to run the country competently regardless of his personal feelings. But, helpful of Justin to remind us of his aristocratic background and the great gap between him and ordinary Canadians. Where can we vomit?
