Operation Empty Chair

Who is funding ISIS?

just last week in the aftermath of the French terror attack but long before the Turkish downing of the Russian jet, we wrote about “The Most Important Question About ISIS That Nobody Is Asking” in which we asked who is the one “breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various “western alliance” governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?”

Hint: It isn’t Halliburton.

  1. Yes, you can bet the corruption in Turkey is as bad as any other third world dictatorship or theocracy, so it’s no surprise the PM’s son is the guy shipping the ISIS oil to foreign markets.
Russia says they will place economic sanctions on Turkey, I wonder of that will have any effect or if it’s a sop to Obama and his “line in the sand” rhetoric, before they bomb the hell out of Turkey.
If Putin is to retain his credibility, he has to respond like the gangster chief he actually is, not try to be the diplomat now.
    Turkey deserves no less.

  2. “Russia says they will place economic sanctions on Turkey, I wonder of that will have any effect or if it’s a sop to Obama and his “line in the sand” rhetoric, before they bomb the hell out of Turkey.”
The smart thing for Putin to do would be to seize one of Bilal Erdogan’s ship full of ISIS oil while it’s shipping to Japan.
Sinking one would be a mistake because of the environmental impact rebounding on Russia and Bilal Erdogan would likely get an insurance payout from Lloyd’s anyway.

  3. I guess this kind of splains Obama’s reluctance to take out ISIS’ oil trucks. Other than him being a muslim terrorist sympathizer I mean. I guess he doesn’t want to piss off Turkey? Are they really that critical in all this? I mean who cares about them?

  4. How ’bout we take this one step further.
Benghazi: Wasn’t Stephens visited by a ‘Turkish diplomat’ the night he was killed by ‘the-rioters-upset-about-that-despicable-movie’?

  5. It looks as though Baghdad Barack and his fellow conspirators are throwing Erdogan under the bus. Anyway, this partly answers Vladimir Putin’s question as to who was operating the ISIS oil sales. Oh yes – did you see that clip the other day where a senior former CIA person said that the US isn’t interdicting the ISIS oil either by bombing the oilfields or destroying the oil trucks – for fear of the environmental consequences and destroying infrastructure (one sometimes thinks that “infrastructure” is the only big word that leftists know). Which leads to the question: is Baghdad Barack insane, or a traitor?
We can also see why Hillary desperately wants – no, needs – to be President, because if she doesn’t make it, prosecutors will be lined up six deep outside her office.

  6. I see thees already some idiots trying to blame this Paris incedent on gun owners and the Gun Lobby some liberal run tabloid rags are blaming the NRA as always when it comes to these lowlife reptiles who run the media their more interested in selling their lousie papers and leftists political poppycock then in telling the news

  7. Crap. I was hoping it was going to be Petrofina-Elf (or whatever it’s called now). And I so wanted to ask if Honest Jean was profiting from it. Oh, well. C’est la vie. 🙁

  8. If obungles really want to wipe out ISIS he would just tell Erdogan to back off the Kurds and then arm the Kurds, job done. But obungle’s probably has a deal with Erdogan that he will not arm the Kurds to any great extent because they would establish their own state which would probably entail part of Turkey. Obungles is probably hoping the ISIS will de-throne assad and then obungles can kneegotiate with them. I think good olde Vald threw a wrench into obungles plans

  9. So let me get it straight, Pootin knew about it all along but kept it secret until it become politically expedient? Ugh, cynical among us might suspect that Pootin is not in it for greater good of humanity.

  10. Everyone is in at cross purposes. There are several agendas in play . It is impossible to know who may be the good guys. I don’t think there are any good guys here at all. I think there are a lot of fools a suckers including us as we accommodate the refuse on the alleged run. We will pay dearly for our naitivity.

  11. A point worth investigating is the extent to which members of the present Administration are profiting from the oil sales. How much of this has gone to the Clinton Foundation?

  12. yup, that and maybe Obungles and Erdogan may have a back channel going as well. It appears that being a politician is good for becoming wealthy:-))

  13. Turkey stopped being a NATO ally shortly after the Persian Gulf War of 1990-91. How does their continued participation in NATO, or potential membership in the EU, benefit the West?

  14. Quick explanation of the players in Syria/Iraq: The muslims are the bad guys.
    A longer explanation:
Khurds – Most want a Khurdistan across Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria. Would like to get on with life; strong communist influence in one faction. I say help them get it, make it a policy goal.
Turks – Many asian and local turk populations form pro-Turkey militia units. Turkey wants to regain its authority in the middle East, possibly a new caliphate.
ISIS – Sunni muslims have a new caliphate; they want it to be Saudi Arabia without the royal familly.
Shia – various Shie muslim militias do the bidding of Iran; they don’t get along with the Sunnis, therefore resist advance of ISIS.
Assyrian – yes, that ancient people still exist; there are now more than 1 million of them. They were Christian once, many still are.
Alawite – a group of coastal muslims, presiedent Assad is one. Russia and Iran support them.
Yazidis – anybodies guess but they seem to be harmless, therefore they get killed a lot.
Gosh, it’s difficult to make humor out of this situation. My best guess is to encourage Shia and Sunni to kill each other, preserve the oil fields, support the Russians and kick Turkey out of NATO.

  15. The larger question is … Why did the White House stampede the Muslim herds out of North Africa and some war torn state in the ME. THEN FLOOD THEM INTO OUR COUNTRIES? What they did in Libya, Iraq, Syria … Destroyed habitat …
My guess is to destroy our cohesiveness as a culture. To bankrupt us with welfare and security costs … While using global warming as an excuse to control us and raise our cost of living to New York City levels to save the god damned planet …. Who the hell do they think this planet is here for?
Why are we so f*cking tolerant of these traitorous leaders and these Muslim invaders?
