I took another pain pill after reading what ISIS wants,
it caused my PTSD to flare up from having to kill so many disfranchised suicide bombers in VietNam,
But I feel so sorry for this poor child.

A student at Columbia University is urging the school to inject more diversity into its required courses, claiming she suffered severe emotional trauma (PTSD) from reading too many books by and about white people.
Columbia students and faculty gathered Wednesday night for a panel discussion on “Race, Ethnicity, and University Life.”
OH my goodness, the Humanity, the Sorrow..
The Islamic State is everything the West is not: determined, bloody-minded and supremely confident in its own beliefs and values.
In a nutshell JJM, you nailed it.
Here’s one more nutshell….we kill all of them (including collateral damage) or they kill us.
It’s a matter of will.
There are some things even a goat won’t do for money.
Your post was one only sentence yet it still resonates so much truth.
Indeed, Islam has a focus on conquering the entire world, all it’s believing actors loyal to the same cause. Compare that to our western societies which for many reasons have lost purpose and commitment.
Here are what I believe some of those reasons are ….
The turning of liberalism into some type of bizarre moral code. Do not ask what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you.
The left/right civil war that has utterly consumed western democracies and effectively immobilized our advance for decades now. Far far too many vital decisions for our nations made undo-able because the fortunes of the parties outweigh the fortunes of the nations’. Has anyone here ever stopped to consider the simple fact that when MP’s are voted into office in our system of government, that exact same system ensures the majority of them become dedicated to making sure our government FAILS?!?
The absolute refusal to negotiate and compromise between these ideology-based parties for a common good. Instead, they wage a non-stop war to protect their own interests.
The fact our societies now focus on rights, privileges and good times while virtually ignoring the values of responsibility, hard work and independence.
Maybe most importantly, we have made it impossible for any true leader to emerge to inspire an entire nation. Multiculturalism and partisanship have fractured our own great nation into a group of bickering, selfish children.
Islam is a threat, no doubt, but our own failures to protect our freedoms are what scare me the most.
This article was written in an intentionally immature style with gratuitous f-bombs all over. He never got to the heart of the problem – Islam itself.
The article blames us for not understanding ISIS, but ISIS is full of bizarre contradictions, they are highly irrational, they are a huge – impossible to understand – mess
they hate Iran, they even hate Al Qaida; how can anyone make sense of that?
They are Muslim terrorists who hate other Muslim terrorists; who the hell are we supposed to fight and who the hell are we supposed to help?
The article says ISIS kills mostly Muslims…
Muslims have been hating and killing each others for centuries and are still doing it today; no matter what we do they will do that for centuries to come.
The only thing one can conclude from that is that we should keep contact with them to a minimum and not import hordes of them into our nations.
They are not like us, will never be, it is in their DNA.( even if Islam is not a race )
Last day of campaign —
According to Edwards’ campaign, he will spend the night calling supporters and volunteers as part of get out the vote efforts. Edward has led every poll since the Oct. 24 runoff but needs a strong turnout to win.
Vitter, meanwhile, will be attending a “Real Men” conference in Gonzales, put on by The Church in St. Amant. The conference does not allow women (a frequently asked questions page on the conference website explains that this is to “create a safe place for men.”)
Remember Muslims are peaceful and if you compare them to ISIS you make them want to join ISIS (HRC), though apparently that has nothing to do with religion either.
We have such fools in Canada too. This ridiculous piece from the G&M had me wondering if their fashion editor had written it:
“Tabatha Southey. How the crazies and the pundits give IS exactly what it wants.”
“Did the man actually dressed as an evil comic-book clown who was arrested Thursday in Montreal for allegedly threatening to kill one Muslim person a week get a chance to win a trip to Hawaii?” Well that’s obviously has the same lethality and recruiting effect as gunning down over 120 Parisians. The vapid stupidity that poses as cleverness and journalism in general can still causes me pause, even after we elected a Ken doll as PM.
Remember: Vetting refugees actually creates terrorists. In fact, when you don’t vet them at all, you can go through 25,000 in no time, so where’s the risk. In fact ISIS has NEVER infiltrated Syrian refugees; then again on 10 Sep 2001 AQ had NEVER flown airliners into skycrapers.
Methinks the bloom is coming off Trudeau’s rose, particularly a chez Quebec over his refugee stand:
“Trudeau’s refugee gamble: Time — and most Canadians — aren’t on his side:”
“… it’s becoming increasingly clear that the majority of Canadians are unhappy with Trudeau’s bet on refugees, and not just because its a wager he made with their money. Polls published this week by Léger Marketing, Angus-Reid, Mainstreet and our Montreal Gazette readers survey, which you can see below, suggest that most Canadians are unhappy with the Jan. 1 deadline, and that dissatisfaction is anchored to concerns the narrow window the government has left itself will result in corners inevitably being cut on security checks on refugees.” http://montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/montreal-the-moment/trudeaus-refugee-gamble-time-and-most-canadians-arent-on-his-side
Interesting read, thanks Kate.

Well dome… Stay there and read the refugee article… Made me think.
