  7. Thanks EBD–Great video. Bondi beach in Sydney is still one of the finest in the world. I lived near there for a over a month in 2004, I could walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. If you notice the Ferguson 35 tractor, (2:36–2:45) they still use a similar device to glean the garbage (broken glass–syringes–needles–etc.) from the sand. They keep their beaches in great shape, and they love Canadians. I was there in January.
    At night, you can walk near the beach and feel the heat of the day stored in the sand.
    While I was there I met a guy and his wife who were from Regina. In the distance near the water, there was a couple making out, we could barely see them in the faint moonlight. The old guy, a retired farmer, turned to me and said, ”Do you think they give a ”F” how much snow there is on Albert St. in Regina tonight??” We had a good laugh!

    I went on Youtube, got the video, clicked on CC (Closed Caption) and then clicked on settings. (sprocket icon.) I played the video half speed (.5) using HQ stereo headphones. Notice that the closed captions do not display the word whore. Could it be that mean spirited Liberals or NDP supporters of ISIS inserted the word?? Question: CBC has all of the TV equipment to decipher the video. Why did they not do that?? Or did Jihad Justin stop them?? Now that he controls Canada Post, I’m sure he also controls CBC.     why does marxism and the numerous variants of leftism gain foothold in the hearts and minds of downtrodden?

    skill testing Q: how much dissolved salt is in the oceans?
    trillions of tonnes? Im just guessing, but a general rule of thumb regarding the elements is the lower the periodic number is, the more of it is. hydrogen for example is still THE predominant element in the universe.
    chlorine is kinda low on the list and sodium likewise. oxygen is really abundant.
    so my guess is theres lots and lots of salt in the oceans.
    which brings me tot he topic of the salt tax the british tried desperately to implement in India when it was still a colony. (the audacity of the brits to diktat terms to India is a topic in itself). the idea was a practice the Indian people conducted of repeatedly using plain old sunlight to subject quantities of ocean water leaving the salt behind, HAD to be TAXED.
    ‘magine dat. TAXING the acquisition of something as common as the byproduct of evaporating sea water. my my my. no wonder there were huge protests in the face of this thuggery by the brits.
    now we look at the situation of bechtel in bolivia and *their* attempt to privatized the water supply system. to reinforce the attempt, they bribed the politicians to legislate a tax on, wait for it, RAINWATER. yep. to collect friggin RAINWATER was to be subjected to some sort of levy.

  18. Your commentary seems to brings us to where the argument for capitalism breaks down. Kinda brings us to a no-hope scenario. I think this is what Thomas Sowell was alluding to in his Conflict of Visions writings…that the proclivities of human-kind are such that only a cleverly constructed and dynamic “rule of law” is the only defence against injurious exploitation. The bad guys show up in different disguises, but all are really cut from the same cloth, wishing to impose their personal wealth-building, power-holding schemes upon the commoner. Fascists and Communists, crony capitalists, socialists etc etc are all different forms of the same thing: templates for theft. Really, the only things is a well thought out conservative approach to ward off the cheaters. Today, you can trace it back to the world’s billionaires, especially their alignment with the AGW zombies, Trudeau and company front and centre. The rich super-shrewd in the world have learned to adopt and harness any form of governance to their advantage. They’re not adverse to throwing in a little Anarchy just for the fun of it occasionally.

    its like the theory that the universe curves around onto itself, ie just keep going and going is some direction (ignoring the fact space is bent every which way) and, you wind up where you began!!
    in other words, the core behaviours of the extreme left and extreme right have a LOT in common.
    what it gets down to, with capitalism at its very worse, you look at the ‘deed’ and there is the name of an individual or corporation on it, ie PRIVATE hands. with the most extreme leftism its the STATE owns everything, but the boys with their hands on the ‘levers of power’ get exclusive access and use of those assets and resources. this is why dudes like brezhnev had their OWN traffic lanes in Moscow. they didnt OWN the road, they just got to use it all for themselves.
    the end result was exactly the same, on the 2 extremes.
    this is what many pundits and critics of the ‘right’ and ‘left’ fail again and again to recognize.
    my theory of 99% of the worlds property winding up in the hands of 0.001% of the population can be refined to say that perhaps a large portion will be ‘state’ owned, and the rest confined to a the very tiny number of uber uber wealthy individuals and gigacorporations. ut very few of who we call middle class etc.
    its coming. its all according to human nature.
