  1. Care “in the community” means dumping the problem on the streets or making the people go away so they die. The streets are full of mentally ill people receiving their care in the community. With all the administration in the health care system you’d think they wouldn’t frig it up so badly.

  2. Yes, care in the community worked so well in the late 80s and early 90s when we empties the mental hospitals. Welcome to the DTES in Vancouver…

  3. And don’t let us forget Grandad, whose harddrive is getting full and who needs fairly constant supervision. “Care in the community” means paid caregivers turn up at his place at odd times – not as scheduled – and do what they feel like, not what needs doing. Which leaves the ‘daughter-on-call’ unable to be more than about 15 minutes away from him at all times, and her family wondering who will land in hospital first, Grandad or Mum.

  4. But, but, but, ….those Local Health Integrated Networks were going to streamline EVERYTHING!! And make it more efficient!!
    They said….
    Ha….

  5. Wynne’s Ontario Liberals just cut doctor’s fees for the third time in 2 years, while they are raising teacher salaries and benefits (for a 9 month work year) for the second time in 3 years. Apparently, if we break a hip or if our appendix bursts we will be better served at the local kindergarten than the local hospital.

  7. You’ll find this funny. My sister, an Ontario school teacher told me today they haven’t had raises in 6 years and they aren’t striking for money. Just prep time and benefits. I was too tired to tell her those things were monetary.

  8. Ontario needs recall legislation, the Wynne government is out of hand, out of control and beyond all reason. To top it off she’s got the stupidity to take a side in the federal election, the side she figures she can easily manipulate. Ontario is a disaster of major proportions. This is thanks to all the idiots who like being lied to and taxed and regulated from stem to stern. We’ll be the bread line capital of Canada before this crew are finished.

  9. Teachers are so brainwashed by the unions and their echo chambers staff rooms they live in, that they can’t wipe without guidance. I had the misfortune of having to attend a wedding of a teachers kid, that my wife is friends with, after two or three quips about how there will be no improvements at the place we were at because Albertas new self loathing NDPeers have deemed the area a wilderness park (appropiate for those perpetualy in the wilderness), I had teachers actively avoiding me, until when one fatty with a cold struck a conversation with my ex teacher wife and myself about the horrible refugee situatiion in Syria , I said “do you think this would be happening if Ronald Regan was president,,,no, he would send in a few Sidewinders like he did on old Muamar in 1985 after he murdered hundreds on a plane, and shazaam,,shit over,,that was it, the sickly moved on, and thats what I wanted in the first place. To stupid to know they are stupid, thats sums up this Wynn idiot in Ontario, and I’m sad to say now Alberta has Wynn Lite. God of Conservatives please help us.

  10. I work in healthcare. You have no idea how accurate that statement is. If there ever was a topic that needs exploring, it’s the LHIN’s.

  11. Public sectors employees are a parasite on the land. What is worst is that they now campaign against government policies that may restrain the parasitism. Government is clearly for the governors and the governed are there simply to provide for the governors.
