I Felt A Great Disturbance In The Narrative

Oops.

Germany’s open-door policy to refugees appeared to be unravelling tonight following the country’s reinstatement of border controls to curb the overwhelming influx of migrants.
Europe’s top economy halted all trains from Austria and, in an historic move, temporarily suspended the open borders Schengen agreement in response to the arrival of tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in recent days.
The decision marks a dramatic shift away from the current abolishment of passport checks throughout Europe’s Schengen zone.

  1. And while Harper’s stance looks more and more reasonable with each passing hour, Mulcair’s looks more and more reckless.

  2. ALLES AUSSTEIGEN! Ausweis und papiere bitte…
After the chaos settles somewhat, they’ll begin to take stock of the absorption rate.
If they bring in only teatotaller migrants that would slow the consumption of beer!

34 And he called to him the multitude with his disciples, and said to them, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Last time I checked there is no ‘Gospel of Convenience’ that the elitists would like to preach to you…

  3. I am looking forward to the NDP/Mulcair explanation about how they felt they could use a murderer’s concocted alibi to support flooding this country with welfare tourists.

  4. I saw this comment on facebook regarding General Hillier’s desire to accept 50,000 refugees by Christmas.
I address this to all the high profile proponents of accepting massive amounts of Syrian refugees. Mr Hillier, Mr Mulcair, Mr Trudeau, Premier Notley – Alberta, Premier Wynne – Ontario, and anyone else whom I have not mentioned.
When you each personally sponsor some of the refugees, and not only sponsor but welcome them into your homes to live, long term; then I will follow your example and do my part. I am not interested in welcoming 50,000 foreigners to be sent out to live in the “at large” population of Canada, while you people live in your gated communities or behind either Gov’t or private security gates and fences. Lead by personal example or sit down and shut up.

  5. This is where the knee-jerk do-gooder types don’t quite “get it”. Providing aid and shelter to hundreds of thousands of people isn’t the same as offering the sofa bed in the basement rec room to someone down on their luck.
More “tough love” again: the first thing you need to do if you are going to bring in large numbers of refugees is to impose rigid control and order on the process.

  6. The suicidal left will always wait until it’s too late.
Enjoy the civil war Germany, you asked for it.
Notice how the Liberal Germans first enticed tens of thousands with promises of unicorns and a free lunch, lure them away from their homes, and then strand them homeless and cluttered like concentration camp inmates.
    Stalin would be proud.

  7. Story in the Dailt Mail on Sept. 11: “Housed in a notorious concentration camp: Refugees who fled to Europe for a better life are living in former Nazi barracks at Buchenwald where thousands of slave-labourers died after being subjected to medical experiments.”
That should generate a warm, fuzzy, welcome to Europe feeling among the refugees.

  8. imagine, bringing in thousands more potential jihadis. stupid is one word to describe it, there are many more.

That will give the Germans time to fix them up for the “Refugee’s”, so that when the “Refugee’s” take over the country they’ll have somewhere to put the Germans.

“Time to head to Jackfish lake Alberta , the pole of inaccessibility for North America”
I exercised my God given Right to white flight years ago! Unfortunately today I require to be within a lengthy commute to Calgary and Airport, so I’m limited in how far I can actually run for the time being.
The biggest problem now is that all the nice + convenient places I had originally planned for later retirement (Alberta/ BC) are filling up with Liberals and their “baggage”, so finding a hiding place is getting slimmer by the year.
SDA should have a thread where conservatives can share ideas on great escape refuges around the country (even abroad).

  11. Here, I would open immigration to no limits – of sponsorship only – which includes an orientation period in the sponsor’s home and neighborhood. Then we can sit back and watch the sincerity of Proggy altruism and how deep the champagne socialist commitment to open borders really is.
Under conditions where these pro- migrant progs must take personal responsibility for housing, education and conduct of their wards, I’m guessing we’d see fewer than 1000 sponsors.
Like all things progs pimp, the unstated proviso is that someone else must provide the funding/labor/sacrifice – most progs are idle drones themselves so they see nothing wrong with more drones coming in to burden the welfare system = but if they have to extend any significant personal sacrifice for the imported drones, attitudes will change.

  12. Northern Ontario is full of such havens; I have just such a retreat, been spending more and more time up there as the years go on. It doesn’t exactly have all the convenient comforts of home, and the solitude is only broken by the few shots heard in the distance of people bagging their birds or filling their freezers. A few hunters and trappers have used my cabin over the years without me having expressly invited them when I am not present, but the 12 year-old rye and colts (and the like) left on the cutting board are great appeasers and with the moose jerky left in kind, I have an anonymous and budding honor system barter going on. There is only one type of beard here, and it has nothing to do with the length of one’s fist. No fundiemuzzies within even a thought, and anything that sticks out gets whacked back in place double-quick.
All you have to do is be willing and inclined to re-evaluate what is “convenient”, and it is all your’s. 🙂

Sounds like a nice place, although I hope it’s not too close to these Liberal Jihadists:
“..police now describe as a terrorist training camp on an isolated property just outside Washago, about 150 kilometers north of Toronto.”
    http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/story.html?id=9ee0b6bc-6d12-4fde-bd13-85d1cd6b71c5
Was hoping for something with a few modern conveniences like hospitals etcetera, well away from Liberals and their terrorist friends. I don’t know if Ontario has anywhere to offer in that respect.

  14. I understand Germany wantto close its borders but the rest of the Euroweenie Union will condem them for this call them Nazis

  15. I drilled a super critical sour well near McLeod AB. It was a duster however I did get to meet with dozens of landowners. There were white flight people from all over the world Germany, holland. Even Israel
    All looking for isolation

Yes Alberta has historically been one of the global havens from Liberal tyranny, after the Liberal third world immigration flooding of the 90’s and onwards, a quick step outside of Edmonton & Calgary was all that was needed.
Today we’re almost trapped with our backs to a corner.
