Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Say what you want about Trump, the guy knows how to handle a hostile leftist activist disguised as a “journalist”.
Trump/Cruz 2016
Nice bit of selective editing by ABC. The video doesn’t match the transcript. I guess they left out the part where the “journalist” offered his euphemism because they didn’t want their audience to realize he what a tool he is.
I have no truck with Trump, but the other candidates should take a lesson from him. I’m sick of other people determining what is “offensive” on my behalf and that I think, was Trump’s point. You find it offensive? Fine, don’t use it – but don’t tell me to eliminate words that are concise and accurate in order to spare your tender sensibilities.
On the same note, you know you’re dealing with a progressive anytime they use a paragraph to say the same thing a simple word or phrase will achieve.
Trump may be an @$$, but I’ll ride that jack-@$$ as long as he is going in my direction.
None of the other candidates were willing to cross their big donors on immigration. Can’t tick off the US Chamber of Commerce or Silicon valley. Wait until they discuss H-1B visas. Silicon valley executives may parrot the leftist demands for $15 per hour minimum wages, but they’d like to pay programmers in magic beans and Starbucks gift cards if they could get away with it. They may say they want $30,000 dollar per year fast food workers, but they’ll demand the right to pay their own computer programming workers no more than $58,000.00* per year. They will search high and low to hire every H-1B Indian Programmer they can find before they’ll pay more for an American Programmer.
And I dare you to ask them who nannies the kids, mows their lawns and cleans their pools?

I like what’s going on around Trump but I still don’t trust him:
-Was too close to the Clintons before and supported Democrats.
-The way he presented and talked about Obama’s fake birth certificate when first exposed; omitting key facts and muddying the truth. In that same time, Obama’s social security number was also coming out.
Trump opened the door wide open for ridicule which Obama and the fanning media used as Alinski tactic. This was done at a press Gala. Trump attended it and was laughed out of the room.
This Trump “attack” that came out of nowhere at the time pretty much ensured the final nail in the coffin for the birther (AKA truth seeker) movement.
Ask yourself this, if it is all nonsense, why does Obama still need to bring it up and do the Alinski with it?…He did it in Saudi Arabia just a month or so ago again and he does it at press parties still.
Repeat a lie or ridicule a fact long enough and it becomes truth.
Obama is still campaigning that’s all he knows and does it well.
Hewill do anything to keep the left in power and will use traitors and infiltrators to achieve it if necessary.
I don’t trust him either, but as rd said “I’ll ride that jack@$$ as long as he’s going in my direction”.
I am so happy Donald Trump is pointing out to the stupid of the world,,who the stupid of the world are. Media whores and a lot of politicians and the people who vote for the PC politicians are the stupid. Like Kruchev said we will hang you with the rope you sold us, the emasculation by political correctness of a big swath of North America has been successful. Men used to be men, Donald is saying what most men used to say, the truth. Before all this BS of sanitized terms and millification of our everyday lives happened we men got things done, now wimps suggest projects or ideas and wait till all the environuts and other assorted idiots shout him down then hide behind a skirt or somewhere else. Donald is not hiding, he is smart, he doesnt care about being millified and I for one are extremely happy he is exposing the presstitutes for what they are. Imagine if we had honorable people in media, “he paid back the 90,000 that the fat media whore stole, well I hope Steven fired the fat media dick”. End of story. The media is the enemy of everyone, don’t buy their products. And I like Donald, he is successful, business savy and would make a great president, far better that the media invented idiot they have.
My last comment on this post apparently didn’t make it past moderation, so I’ll try one more time…
People who are so… how should I put this… “divinely inspired” by the Trumpster should really give their own heads a shake, and check out his record before trumpeting (pardon the pun) his conservatism.
This should get you started.

It is interesting to compare the western world immigration policies to the Middle East
http://www.justhere.qa/2013/10/get-qatari-citizenship/
Are policies should take into account the rules of the country of origin, for example, a guy from Qatar would only be able to get Canadian citizenship if could star in the NHL.
People are dying for leadership any Leadership at all and Trump is giving it………….almost Like Germany 1932
Given the 24/7 hyped up crap coming from the media party covering and opining about the DUFFY trial it’s rather refreshing comic relief to watch Trump in action. He’s saying so many things so many people think and wouldn’t dare say, including politicians.
As the Duffy trial has evolved it’s hard not to wonder if it’s a concocted political spectacle to interfere with the federal election campaign of Prime Minister and you gotta wonder about all the charges, was this done to drag it on as long as possible? It’s all too, too suspicious,we should all be very concerned. This is the DUFFY trial, no one else was charged.
Liz;
The Duffy trial is a ideal opportunity for the Dippers and Liebels to siphon off weak
CPC support and reinforce their own fence sitters. It will be dragged out as long as
possible by operatives inside and outside of the media. The idea that a citizen would pay Duffy’s debt could be illegal escapes me. No this was not government money and the
expenses Duffy was claiming were also being claimed by most Senators. It stinks but Duffy is not unique.
The fact that the Harper campaign has not raised the issues needed to be discussed worries me. It could be timing. If the campaign is as low key as in my riding I would also be worried. As the campaign heads towards October perhaps the CPC brain trust has concluded that many voters will tune the negative nannies out of their calculations. If
the economy continues to crash globally it could help Harper’s argument that a steady
hand is necessary. It will likely come down to the economy. Similar to the BC provincial election when the Dippers were tuned out as people voted for Clarke’s Liberals who committed to economic development of LNG.
Cept the german leaders were socialists like Trudea and Mulclair.
Its all about controlling the language. When you are forced to communicate using Dem/Left euphemisms that neuter language of meaning – or worse yet make concepts actually the exact opposite of reality, then you are going to lose every debate.
What trump is doing is not debating in Libspeak, and the left and their sycophants in the media realize if they do not control the language they will not control the debate.
So while I share some suspicion of what Trump might be up to, he is most assuredly taking some big chunks out of the very foundation of the lefts control of language.
Nigel Wright did not give Duffy a cheque, the cheque was made out to the crown, we got the money back. How can that lead to a charge of bribery? The bigger question is why is the Judge allowing this spectacle to continue?
The way the media is treating PRIME MINISTER Harper, all the piling on from the likes of Wynne, the Unions etc, you have to know they’re all playing politics and looking like a group of clowns in a circus. They’re all in cahoots trying to confuse people between provincial and federal jurisdiction. Jackasses all, we need to hope the people are smart enough to see through this quagmire or God help us.
That’s true but the idea applys people want leadership
With all due respect, if clues where shoes, you’d be barefoot.
So when did leadership mean a part-time drama teacher or a career person that couldn’t manage his own finances?
Still, Mr Harper et al are silent, preferring it seems “rope-a-dope”, as an effective policy of managing this tempest in a tea pot. Nobody around my circle is even talking election stuff, yet, they’re still trying to get by the fact that they probably voted for Notley and don’t want to be pinned with that little error in judgement, especially here in Harper’s riding. It went NDP, provincially.
So, maybe it’s a way for the usual suspects to blow themselves out on Duffy-Gate before Labour Day? After that, what else have you got?2 Frankly, a little Trumpeting seems to be in order, because what I see is the media defining the topics & discussion instead of the Cons. Trump is running them over on the issues that appeal to the media. Maybe the Cons should adopt some of that, I mean, what do they have to lose….an election?
Clock’s tickin’ boys.
