Trump keeps shaking off those progressive arm tackles. Foobert, our progressive leaders are so mathematically illiterate they never see the nonsense for what is. James Delingpole wrote an entertaining essay where he showed the climate science snobs were mostly English Lit grads with less than zero background in science or math. When proper studies show the cost of some program in the $billions, most people don’t grasp even the idea of the waste; that’s what Mulcair and other statists and collectivists are “counting” on here. Harper needs to be tough on their nonsense and like Trump tell Canadians to be proud, to keep Canada great. We have two (Forum, Mainstreet) with the Dippers 10% ahead in the former, with the Tories ahead similarly in the latter. Both put the Grits dead in the water. We’ve got to keep calling people on this nonsense, with numbers literally picked out of the air, and dinner napkin solutions to non-existent “problems.” Progressives count on the low information vote, especially our naïve young adults, so stand up for reality and challenge false narratives everywhere, or some weird result which we saw in AB could be repeated, if somehow the Liberals hold their right flank against Harper and the NDP is able to snow BC voters. It’s Harper’s to lose, but he still must win it. Simplistic? Probably. Reality? Certainly.
The GOP could learn a few things about campaigning from Trump too, but they don’t seem interested. Maybe they’re hoping HRC will get indicted. They seem more afraid to lose than eager to win.

Don, the same EXACT thing was said about Reagan – that he was a divider, too much of a maverick, too far to the right, too much of a populist, blah blah blah. He had to fight uphill against the Rhino Establishment to get the nomination, but he won (and became one of the best American Presidents that the USA ever had).
