  1. Have you noticed that the left has a fetish for exploiting children in its propaganda? From 12 year olds telling bankers how to run the economy to 8 year olds in a post apocalyptic enviro-wasteland. This poli-child-porn is endemic to the left. Mainly because it does not require an actual argument.
    There is no problem with the food we eat. Actually it’s the main reason we are living such long healthy lives. To go back is to condemn untold millions to starvation and death. Something socialists have shown repeatedly that they are very comfortable with.

  10. Just went to the FFA banquet at the high school last night. Thank goodness our principal stood up and talked about how the challenges facing teenagers today can be combatted with programs such as the FFA. And with Kiwani’s and others that generously donate to continue these programs.
    I think I’m going to email or call him to tell him how much I appreciate his speech.

  22. I recall years ago walking down the Stephen Avenue mall in downtown Calgary where school children had painted the plywood walls that were put up around various construction sites. As I walked by, there were some grade school kids painting on one of them and putting up the words “Food is free”. The teacher beamed with pride. So I went up to the teacher and asked her if she had any idea just how stupid that phrase made her student look. She got all huffy as only a leftist moron can and then we started to debate the matter. Her answers were so incredibly stupid that I felt sorry for the students. I should have got her name. That loon is probably still indoctrinating children.

  27. I went to one of my grandsons school plays last year. It was no longer a Christmas play but a winter holiday . the school had contracted , yes contracted; a hiphop school to put it on . each class did maybe 2 minutes of some sort of hiphop dance. but really it was a showcase for the hiphop types who would either talk for 10 minutes or dance for 10 minutes after introducing each other as “hiphop legends ” or the father of Calgary hip hop.
    the audience was very blue collar and amazingly European looking considering where the school was. lots of dads where wearing coveralls or shirts that said “joes painting ltd”
    anyway their faces looked like the audience when they saw the opening number for “springtime for Hitler” jaw dropping

  34. I wonder if the producers of this skit ever matched the number of people who died from organic foods and the resulting E-coli water contamination-organic is a euphemism for feces-and those who got ill from chemical usage. The ratio would millions to none.
    BTW most pesticides and herbicides bio degrade after a few days.

Parents gave them a standing ovation and I doubt if there will even be a discussion on the garbage they were celebrating. This would be in a urban setting because rural parents and children that age would be immune to that type of propaganda. Can’t fix stupid and can’t even fight the ignorance involved when 85% of the population is urban and has no idea what’s involved in farming. Their food just magically shows up at the store and always has. They have no idea how grateful past generations of city folk have been for a nice tasty rat when everything falls apart. Hope they never have to find out. Yet sometimes I think a famine is the only cure for these mental midgets.

  39. On this past Monday morning after the clocks changed, I was in a store where a couple of men were discussing the reason for “Savings Time”. The topic of farmers and their needs came up. and one of the men said “I don’t know why anyone would want to be a farmer.”
    I spoke up loudly looking straight at him and said (quite truthfully) “My Uncle was a farmer all his life, and his son is as well. It’s all they ever wanted to do. They loved the land.”
    A hasty retreat was effected by the loudmouth………………

It’s time for governments to brush these professional activists to the side, but that would take leadership instead of vote pandering and the next election will tell us which is in our future.

  48. I’m not sure she lied. She had a theory and preconceived notions that set off the usual activism storm based on bad research. Her intentions may have been good and she became rich and famous in her quest. Once in motion the bad research took on a life its own and untold millions have died since. The main stream media and brainwashed followers ignored any research to the contrary and DDT has been vilified ever since. We have seen the same pattern repeated with many other things, including salt, cholesterol, second hand smoke, gun control,the spotted owl, the hole in the ozone layer, global warming , climate change, a peaceful Islam and many more fallacies. The weakness is in our system, where elected officials are too busy (or dumb) to do the research on their own while listening to the baying hounds of activism and their handlers whose motives are seldom for the good of humanity and far too often relate to the money or power trail. Agenda 21,wind power, activist judges,the EPA and Homeland security would be a prime examples, but there are so many more. The bottom line is that our leaders have found the smoothest path to election victory via risk aversion and that makes for very weak leadership.
