  1. Sadist. (Not really. I wouldn’t watch it if you paid me. Unless you paid me a lot. But why would you?)

  2. That was a movie? About what???
I thought 50 shades was the latest version of the LPC policy book

Before the EPA gets too hysterical about mercury emissions from coal fired power stations, they should look at a REAL source of mercury pollution in North American Humans – namely mercury amalgam dental fillings.
About 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a client of the Pure North S’energy Foundation. I won’t go into boring details, but one of the things they test for is the amount of mercury in your body. There is NO amount of mercury that is actually “safe” for the human body, but Pure North have defined a maximum level that is acceptable in terms of drastic health effects. Their tests showed that the amount of mercury in my body was FIFTEEN TIMES what they considered to be safe. Because I didn’t take dental health seriously as a kid, I had twelve teeth that had been filled with mercury amalgam.
Pure North put me on chelation treatment for 6 months and helped me get all of my mercury amalgam fillings replaced with totally non-toxic composite. Today my mercury level is comfortably below their maximum acceptable level and I am grateful beyond words.
I will probably never know in this life if there is any relationship between my mercury level and the fact that I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in January 2000. God knows, but by the time I meet Him in eternity, I’ll have ‘WAY more interesting things on my mind!

  4. “I want briefly to record my indebtedness to the late Sun News television network, and to its staff: a couple hundred mostly young earnest industrious, rather underpaid people who lost their jobs when the signal went down at five, Friday morning. My friend Ezra Levant (who is secretly a mensch) describes most of these people as “severely normal.” That is to say, they did not necessarily share the strongly-articulated opinions of some of the on-air personalities, and may therefore live to find future employment. For the Sun’s stars, however, let us say an extra prayer. They may now be as unemployable in Canada’s left-atheist mainstream as I am.”

  5. Guessing Obumbles wouldn’t be of any help to PM Harper in freeing Egpytian born Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy(sp?)who is out on bail and facing a second trial. Maybe Justin or Thomas could go over, they seem to think Harper isn’t doing enough.

  6. I saw an article on the guy (Fahmy). Seems he is an apologist for the muslim brotherhood. So let him stay where he is.

“Imagine a ceasefire in First Indochinese War where the battle of Dien Bien Phu was allowed to continue. Could it still be called a ceasefire? Could you call the suspension of hostilities between Ukraine and Russian a truce except for the continued reduction of the Debaltseve pocket? The New York Times’ Andrew Kramer reports that a force of 8,000 Ukrainian troops, three fourths as large as the doomed French garrison, is surrounded and being ground down. He speaks of the last road into the garrison.”
