I kind of wonder what it’ll take for people to decide maybe Islam isn’t really such a great ideology after all? Is there anything terrorists could do that Canadians would say “Maybe we could just stop allowing immigration for a few days…” Most of the comments after that tweet are denouncing her. One of the purposes of terrorism is to cause a backlash against your own group, to try to create that “cycle of violence” we hear so much about. But if there are never any reprisals or push-back whatsoever, will the terrorists just keep getting more and more extreme in an attempt to instigate reprisals?
Agree with Rob above. The next bunch of tweets don’t give me the warm and fuzzies about a people that should be grateful for what was done. Maybe those tweet twits would change their minds as the knife slices through their necks.
As mentioned on Fox News this evening, many more journalists have been waterboarded voluntarily than the 3 or so terrorists who produced results (although Kalid ‘Milkshake’ Mohammed apparently onlyl broke after sleep deprivation – waterboarding didn’t do it). Do you think they would submit to some other types of torture as an experiment? Not friggin’ likely.
And I want them to be tortured, not waterborded but tortured, fed alive to starving pigs type of tortured. None should ever leave camp gitmo alive, they should be grateful for the final bullet, they should be grateful that as reward for their co-operation they were mercifully put down and burned to ash instead of fed to pigs.

Moderate Muslims will be enraged in 10… 9… 8 … never.
But President Obama seems to not mind sending drones to kill the Taliban where they live. And his supporters in the press seem to not mind it or think it as worthy of reporting as waterboarding captives would be.
“…It’s time to turn a blind eye to whatever India may do to Pakistan. …” It’s also time to be mindful that the Taliban did this because the Pakistan Army has been going after them. Pakistan has played a dangerous game and is getting hurt for it. And hopefully the Taliban has bitten that hand too hard. Let them keep busy amongst themselves over there.
To be a true believer in a meaningless gesture means something … why didn’t the #Illridewithyou crowd volunteer to exchange their positions with the hostages?

it is Impossible for me to describe what I would do without offending damn near everybody.
Never forget that the Taliban and their ilk are voluntarily subhuman. Their lack of human attributes stems not from which birth canal they slithered forth, but from the set of beliefs and actions they have undertaken as adults. Sure they may have been raised as muslims, and know no other mode of thinking, but they chose to become radical, violent extremists.
I don’t think the Pakistani Army will be the least bit restrained in dealing with their local Taliban problem.
I’d think captured Taliban will regard water boarding as benign.
And the British military has been ordered not to yell a their prisoners. I kid you not; they have been ordered by the courts not to yell in the ears of prisoners they interrogate.
Maybe sit down for a friendly chat over a nice cup of tea?
Why is islam seen as the strong horse and our western society as a weak one? Progressivism has worked it’s wonders.
We are chickified to the point where our pop culture/progsiety is very much anti-man. It’s not a surprise that young, testosterone laden men would see Islam as a refuge. The flip side is those that have swallowed the PC MC progressive Kool-Aid are completely terrified to man up, so they look for root causes and call for empathy – anything to avoid a fight. Violence is BAD!
We need to admit we are a Nation of progressive led cowards.

Her column in the paper always has the word ‘TART’ as a header by her name, but I think they put an ‘R’ instead of a ‘W’ and spelled it backwards by mistake.
