  1. Hey these protesters are all for breaking the law, in addition to carbon capture and sequestration; hence we should give them what they want:
These human law breakers are indisputably made of organic carbon compounds and should be ‘sequestered’, via the gaoler, to the local penitentiary.
    Problem solved!

  2. dr. Megele fruitfly Susuki said he was proud of his grandson for not resting on his own laurels and then promptly inserted himself as the narcissist he is .
then went back for hot chocolate by the fireplace on Point grey road.

  3. Wonder how many floundered down the hill, drooling like the twits they are, to help out with the Dead Mikey Brown protests…

  4. Confiscate everything on them that has a oil component. Most of them would be left naked and all would be without their precious cell phones. Cheap learning curve.

  5. Strange how the CBC can fire a radio host for criminal activities but they say nothing about Saint Suzuki and his grandson breaking the law and counseling others to break the law.

  6. Greg Renouf has been doing excellent work exposing the professional protesters and the links between various groups. genuinewitty.com/2014/11/10/kinder-morgan-protest-unmasked-part-i-is-it-safe-to-send-your-kids-to-sfu-feat-vancouver-observer/

  7. “Strange how the CBC can fire a radio host for criminal activities but they say nothing about Saint Suzuki and his grandson breaking the law and counseling others to break the law.”
    Simple:
    Suzuki: fashionable behaviour.
    Ghomeshi: unfashionable behaviour.
Glad to help clear that up.

  8. Problem is CBC et al give them the time of day and judges bring in injunctions against their targets. They are socialist scum following an agenda, of which the green movement is just a means to an end.

  9. Comrades of Communism need to be sequestered in Nunavut, heated only by wind turbines and solar panels.
How much of these illegal protests should we endure?
    I say, Nunavut!

  10. If the CBC could have covered up for their boy they would have done so but it just became too dangerous for them when it started coming out so they threw him under the bus. Note that the CBC investigation is being done by an insider so they continue to hide much of the bigger story. As for Saint Fruitfly and the other greenies they still have to much power in society to be challenged and beside the CBC realizes the real purpose behind the AGW crowd, a one party world government in which they would truly become the sole media powder in Canada. That is an objective worth fighting for for this batch of socialists.

  11. While it’s good to point out the main players, it is also important to note that there is a significant amount of unorganized opposition to the project. while I know they are trying to pack as much into a short clip as possible, it would have been good to differentiate the ordinary citizen from the professional protesters.

  12. The unorganized opposition is being organized by the professional protestors. A few months back there was a meeting advertised in Fort Langley(pipeline runs through it)indicating there would be information presented by Kinder Morgan. Went to the meeting. No Kinder Morgan only reps from 5 envirowacko groups all drumming up support to shut down the oil sands.

  13. Strange that SUN News were looking at the Saint for requesting young women to escort him on his lectures at universities and as they were beating the bushes another bird got spooked and flew its cover. It’s not that the Saint is fashionable it’s just that he’s passed his due date.

  14. I met with a similar sentiment from him many years ago when I was working on a political campaign. I had to parlay him, with tricky argument, to buy a badge.

  15. It is necessary to attack only the professionals, who are using the “amateurs” and feel-goodies. Point out how they are being manipulated; how the case presented to them is not so; how the professional position will impact their own world.

  16. He can be trapped; this is probably why he will not accept debate of any kind. The Pope must be allowed only to pontificate.

  17. We know who. Unions and eco-funds. They are their shock troops, with plausible denial. I really wish CSIS and the RCMP got to work! These people, along with their foreign sponsors, are working against the national interest of all Canadians.

  18. I believe Russia still has several establishments of a similar nature; we should just pay them to re-open one.

  19. Kate’s thread caption, “Who are the Burnaby protesters?…and why doesn’t the media party cover them?”
My opinion is that the media party will do anything to discredit the Conservative government of PM Harper. As well, the media party largely has swallowed the AGW snake oil and what ever Gaia St. Suzuki spews. All of this superimposed over a hatred of the west and oil from the west in particular.

  20. The whole charade is so annoying, and costly. These people are not “protestors” they’re professional activists, Neo Marxists, anti capitalists, actors with Daddy issues and terrorist wanna be’s (Black Block). The money men behind the anti capitalist activists had to pay bus loads of foreigners (presumably Americans) to come to Burnaby to you know, “protest”. The progressive Media out here are behaving just as expected manipulating the narrative and cheerleading for the Marxists and just as mendacious as the anti capitalists. A whole lot of sound and fury signifying nothing. Like most BCers I wish the professional anti capitalists would just eff the hell off and take the progressive media hacks with you.

  21. I was never very good at science, so help me here – didn’t Einstein or some other brain say that it was impossible to destroy matter, so therefore, it would seem to me that Carbon Dioxide can only be reduced to its elemental state which is … one molecule of carbon and two oxygen … right? Why does this frighten these people so? It seems to me that Mother Nature (God) is pretty good at cleaning up mankind’s mess.

  22. When these protestors are arrested, are they actually charged with something? What would the charge be? If they plead (or are found) guilty, does this constitute the type of criminal record that would prevent them from future travel to the USA or other countries that might take a dim view of ‘criminals’ coming to their country? If this is so, someone ought to tell these protestors that there could be long-term consequences for their actions other than their own feelings of smug righteousness.

  23. Well the RCMP might have screwed up, it appears the police cordon and court order might not be aligned which could make the arrests invalid.
To be honest it’s not the best place to run tankers from, they have to pass through both the first and the 2nd narrows and the 2nd has had it fair share of shipping going awry. It also limits the size of vessel as well and adds time to the journey. From a shipping perceptive, a terminal beside Roberts Bank would be better, but there is limited space on the shore side.
