    The real enemy of humanity is the twisted pedagogues who instill this depraved value system on gullible insulated suburban kids. When the cultural cleansing comes it must sweep academia as well as governmentand media. Our society and culture are coping with McCarthy’s failure to contain Marxist deconstructionism from within.

    These students have had years of background noise about Israel being evil – some of it stuck.
    ISIS – they haven’t heard of.

  8. Stop and consider who has been teaching these kids since grade school. How can society expect anything different. Until a different voice becomes part of their education it will not change. This is one issue among many. It is why the left universally supports the lowering of voting ages.
    The ignorance of the role propaganda plays in forming public opinion always amazes me. The fact that it generally is not challenged simply confirms the lies.

  10. As a graduate of this fine institution of higher learning (well … the science departments anyway), I am VERY familiar with the campus. And to be honest, he flew the ISIS flag at the base of the Campanile which is in the middle of campus in an area with very light traffic (that is nearly 100% students). He flew the Israeli flag on the steps of Sproul Hall across from the student Union which sits right at the end of Telegraph (Hippie central) Ave. This is ground ZERO for every protest gathering, drum circle, and leftist agitprop group. It is a mix of 50-50 students and street creatures who made the long 6-block trek from Peoples Park. So it wasn’t a real apples-to-apples experiment. HOWEVER … the vitriol spewed at the Israeli flag is absolutely accurate. It is common orthodoxy in Berkeley to BLAME every ILL on the planet to Jews living in their land of origin. It is NO DIFFERENT from Hitlers persecution of the Joos … but it is guised as “anti-Zionism” which is politically palatable. It is akin to “supporting our soldiers” … but HATING our military. Typical disingenuous leftist thinking.

  11. Meh,my own kid has gone from conservative to a dipper. He married a gal from NS whose family are all dippers. Now moved to small town BC, joined the union and spouts nonsense.
    I will just enjoy the decline, fighting for the last 20 years is giving me a headache.

I recall a huge standing ovation for Black Panthers at the University of Calgary in 1969 and Marxist Leninist Communists parading around the University of Alberta campus with their Hammer and sickle banners a few years later. Universities are centres of inverted morality and progressive mush, particularly the Arts faculties. They also reflect the dominant cultural pathologies.

    You want to turn that around, my evil mind comes up with… The Draft! Except instead of taking healthy kids working in the private sector like they used to, you only draft university students taking Humanities and Women’s Studies.
    That’ll get ’em appreciating Israel and hating ISIS -real- quick.
