CO2 emissions are closely related to toxic pollution, that ‘elephant-in-the-room’ problem the polluters would like us to ignore. CO2 produced by burning natural gas is pure plant food, and no more toxic than water. Too much of either to breathe will kill you. However CO2 produced from burning coal carries toxic pollution with it. It’s not the CO2 that’s the real problem.
