  1. Ontario take note – the only difference between Venezuela and Ontario is Venezuela’s broke commies have oil and can’t manage, Ontario’s debt wall commies have no resource wealth to bail them – looks like Calgary will become the new Mississauga.

  2. Take note indeed…Chavez/Layton (Chavez died Lazyton just left the country)next up Wynn carrying on. When the libs have totally screwed the province they naturally go to the US or Alberta. Crazy world…

  3. Welcome news, comrades. President Maduro is abandoning Chavez’s quirky, sporadic style of socialism, and implementing what he calls “deep socialism”. I presume he is referring to the work of Peter Wilberg:
    Deep Socialism
Presumably this new type of socialism is far more efficient than the old at destroying freedom, the economy, and the human spirit.
The actual good news, I guess, is that those fleeing Venezuela will only have to navigate roads and paths, not shark-infested waters. Perhaps the cocaine cartels can make a little extra money escorting people to Bogoti.

  4. Damn. The blog used the same shortage-of-sand joke that I thought of as soon as I read the headline.

  5. reality is a bitch now isn’t it
Hitler also had a Jooish heritage, put that in your pipe and smoke it

  6. “Jooish heritage”? What’s that? Judaism is a religion. In other words, it isn’t a inherent trait.
But he certainly was a leftist.
Hitler was named “Man of the Year” in 1938 by Time Magazine. They noted Hitler’s anti-capitalistic economic policies:
“Most cruel joke of all, however, has been played by Hitler & Co. on those German capitalists and small businessmen who once backed National Socialism as a means of saving Germany’s bourgeois economic structure from radicalism. The Nazi credo that the individual belongs to the state also applies to business. Some businesses have been confiscated outright, on other what amounts to a capital tax has been levied. Profits have been strictly controlled. Some idea of the increasing Governmental control and interference in business could be deduced from the fact that 80% of all building and 50% of all industrial orders in Germany originated last year with the Government. Hard-pressed for food- stuffs as well as funds, the Nazi regime has taken over large estates and in many instances collectivized agriculture, a procedure fundamentally similar to Russian Communism.”
