  1. At retirement age, the driver’s exam should be given and after that whenever the driver’s license is renewed, usually five years. If I can’t pass the written and practical exams, then I shouldn’t be driving.

    Many small towns in SW Sask have had their bus service cut off. Let them drive!

  6. The Kurds have been in ISIS way for quite a while. Peshmurga from Syria crossed into Iraq and opened up a corridor to evacuate those folks off that mountain.
    The Kurds have entire units of Kurdish girls who don’t fight like girls and scare the #$%^&* outa the “holy warriors”…..seems the muzzies don’t get to go to their heaven if they get kilt by a girl/woman.
    The G36 is a fully developed, cutting edge, bull-pup assault rifle, excellent for close up and personal. The G3’s are classic full power (7.62 NATO) battle rifles, with tried and tested ability to take the danger outa being close…..

  8. Nope, not ageism, merely enforcing the law. If you can’t pass the tests you shouldn’t be driving, it’s that simple.

  12. Ontario has started testing drivers at 80. they are using a psychological test to check for dementia. what a great country we live in. a civil servant will now get to pull your licence if you don’t pass a test that should be administered in clinical, private, setting, by a doctor.

  14. John Galt…. I am 70 and have driven well over five million miles without wrecking a vehicle. I drive to flordia every year and have skills superior to damn near every driver I encounter. I think the only test necessary is a basic drive with a senior. the drive should cover city and freeway driving. skill shown on such a drive should be the only criteria needed to keep one’s licence.

  21. My experience is quite similar. Neither one of us should have any problem passing driver’s exams. No sane person should object to getting people off the road when they are no longer qualified to drive, for whatever reason.

    You are not driving in a ‘clinical, private, setting, with a doctor’. If the same test is administered equally to everyone, then it shouldn’t be a problem for people who are fit to drive.

Always just shake my head when people say “Oh, once the muslims have children they will be part of our culture.” Lots of examples of muslim second generation blowing up stuff like the UK subway. Here is another one, a girl brought up in Glasgow with money and a good education advocating killing the infidel in the UK as she leaves to join up with ISIS.
