  18. I concur with Tamarax, YK was a great posting. Getting the snow is a given so you cowboy up and learn to enjoy winter activities. Best hunting and fishing I have ever had. Makes one appreciate the size of this country called Canada.

  25. Hey V. Interesting! I enjoyed it a lot.
    An architectural observation: The “Downtown” was composed of hi-rise (OK 10 stories max) buildings. They are really going to cool in wind.
    I suggest it is better, in Northern latitudes, to build lower, but more expansive, buildings and place 8 foot walls strategically on the exterior to shelter pedestrians and buildings from the wind.
    And if you don’t think this ex-architecture student knows wotz ez tawking ov, then go to Darwin, Australia, and observe the specialized house construction that is a purely Darwinian creation, given the climate. Quite unique!
